A sportsman’s dream, only minutes away from the North Maine Woods but still within walking distance of Coffin’s General Store and Dean’s Motor Lodge. Snowmobilers will enjoy direct trail access to ITS 90 & ITS 85 running through the back yard. Portage Hills Country Club and public boat launch to Portage Lake both within several miles drive in the summertime.

House by snowmobile trails

Nice house located right by the main trails and gas station with general store with in walking distance. Also lake right down the street perfect location for year round.

See The Best Of Portage Lake While staying at This Rental.b

The host was very accommodating. The location is perfect for snowmobiling. Right off your driveway,you can access ITS trails. It's right next to the Country store. The store opens @ 4am if you like to ride early and run elbows with the locals. This location certainly met all our needs and then some. I've been snowmobiling for over 50 years. If you are really into snowmobiling and enjoy seeing all the action from snowmobilers, this is a must stay place. It quiet, peaceful and the folks around the area are truly accommodating.
