About this property

Oyster Shack by the Bay / 4 minutes to Morehead City Waterfront/Big Rock Landing

This immaculate 2 bedroom, 1 & ½ bath cottage, including an enclosed double car garage, is located within minutes of downtown Morehead City’s waterfront and all the fun activities and restaurants it has to offer. The cottage can house 4 people comfortably, and I just recently replaced the couch with a sleeper sofa that can accommodate 2 additional guests. It is in a transitional neighborhood and within walking distance of the Calico Creek Boardwalk/Bird Sanctuary and Morehead City Waterfront where the Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament and NC Seafood Festival are held each year. Many other water accesses are close by, including the Intracoastal Waterway and sandy beaches overlooking it. Historic Beaufort is 9 minutes away by car.

The cottage is equipped with a full kitchen, high speed internet, and 3 smart TVs. There is also a gas grill and all kinds of equipment to enjoy the beach or try your hand at catching fish or crabs. Bring your boat as there is parking space for 3 cars and a boat with trailer.
Well behaved and well-groomed pets are welcome for an extra fee per pet. If you would like to let them outside for a while unleashed, the enclosed garage has a doggie door that leads into a small fenced-in area outside. There is also an off-leash dog park at the Rotary Park Dog Park a few miles away from the cottage.

Really adorable place. Love the open floor plan of the kitchen, dining room and living room. I liked the decor. The shower is real nice. Giant bath towels provided, & loved the double sink. (2 people can get ready at the same time.) The bedroom closets are SO spacious. The beds are comfy too. Well stocked house..... Great location! I enjoyed morning coffee on the deck looking out at the bay. The owner went above and beyond with added touches of supplies, etc. The owner is really great I would recommend it to anyone (except senior citizens with staircase issues!) Long staircase to get up to the main level and then another half staircase to a landing, then a long staircase to get up to the bedrooms (while dragging luggage..... We were laughing at how ridiculous we must have looked!) Top notch place!
