We will respond to your inquiry within one business day.

The apartment is very well located, in the center of Rome (the left side of the Tevere river) just between Piazza di Spagna (the Spanish Steps) and Piazza del Popolo areas. The apartment , recently renovated is perfect for two couples or families of four, but can host up to 7 people.

The apartment is few hundred meters from Via del Corso and via di Ripetta, an area with many cafes, restaurants, fashion shops and other shops of any kind including supermarkets, a fresh vegetables market and typical small food shops all within a 5 minutes walking . At 5 minutes walking you will find also two parkings for taxis - in piazza del Popolo and Piazza di Spagna - and several 5-star hotels in the area so taxis are readily available, as well as buses and the Metro (subway) at Piazzale Flaminio.

The apartment is also at walking distance to many of the hystorichal sites such as the Trevi fountain (just renovated), the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and Campo dei Fiori.

The Villa Borghese (Pincio), one of the largest public parks in Rome, is just above Piazza del Popolo. If you have children, you can take them to the zoo or to a small lake where you will find rowing boats. They are both in Villa Borghese. You ca also hire bicycles and scooters in piazza del Popolo and Villa Borghese. Two very famous museums, the Villa Borghese and Villa Giulia, are also at walking distance from the apartment.

The apartment is located in a 15th century small building, with a small and very pretty, recently renovated, court, in a small street between via di Ripetta and via del Corso, with a nice café, where you can have breakfast and quick lunches, just in front and two typical Italian restaurants next door.

The apartment has been recently renovated and has all modern facilities. As soon as you enter you are in the large living room with a dining corner. To the right of the living room is the fully equipped kitchen and thereafter the laundry facilities from one side and the cosy terrace to the other.

To the left side of the entry is the corridor which leads to the two bedrooms and bathrooms. The two beds room is to the left with one sofa bed and another one just under it, when opened, they will become two twin beds. The bathroom with enclosed shower is opposite. Just thereafter is the master bedroom and bathroom. Master bathroom has bath tub with shower sprayer. The twin beds bedroom has a big wardrobe. Another wardrobe is in the corridor.

The living - dining room faces the street, while both bedrooms and the kitchen terrace face internal courtyards. This is very important, since the sounds of the crowded streets of Rome will not reach you when you are resting.

Keywords: between Spanish Steps and Piazza del popolo, flat recently renovated in historical building, cosy terrace, beautiful decor, Italian design

Location, location, location

This apartment was perfectly located on walking streets near the Corso and Popolo with nearby Metro, taxi, groceries, restaurants, a great Gelato place and even a nearby Burger King. The major Roman historical sites were in walking distance or easily reached with public transportation. The apartment was comfortable and roomy for our long term rental of seven weeks for our family of four with two baths, a good kitchen and washer that worked well. The stairs up to the apartment were an easy climb. As mentioned in other reviews, the water pressure was a bit low, but hey, this is an ancient city!

Laura went out of her way to accomodate our needs. I would recommend this apartment as a place to stay in Rome.

Perfect location for families

  • 5 of 5

This is a wonderful, comfortable apartment. We were there for four nights and enjoyed every minute. The rooms are spacious (even the bathrooms) and the air conditioning had no trouble keeping up with the Italian weather (Very important for AC spoiled Americans :)

The location was perfect for us. Right outside the door is a cafe and a restaurant. Turn to your right and in less than 100 yards is the street Via del Corso which has fantastic shopping and countless gelato stands. You really feel like you are in a quaint neighborhood while here versus being in a tourist area.

Laura met us at the flat and showed us how to use everything and even arranged for transportation from the airport.

The only negative I can document is the water pressure. If both bathroom showers are being used, there literally is no water pressure.

Great stay in a great location

  • 5 of 5

Stayed in the apartment at the start of April with my husband and two sons (9 years old and 13 years old). Its location to all the main Rome tourist sites is excellent. It's off the main shopping street; on a side street next to a very good restaurant and with interesting small shops. Five minutes to the Spanish Steps to half an hour walk to the Collosseum and about a 35 mins walk to the Vatican City with everything else in between.

For such a good location, the apartment is spacious; you can open the windows to the front and enjoy the sounds of Rome coming through as well as enjoy the quiet bedrooms at the back to get a good nights sleep. The kitchen has a full size fridge, microwave and all you would expect or need. Husband greatly enjoyed the coffee from the machine in the kitchen (some capsules were supplied). Having two bathrooms was a great help when staying with a family. Water pressure wasn't very high at times but did not cause any problems. The apartment is up a couple of floors but they are not steep stairs; however it wouldn't be ideal for anyone with mobility issues. The apartment was also very clean and felt safe.

Laura was very helpful in arranging transfers to and from the airport and was easily contactable throughout our stay. We really enjoyed our week in Rome and a big part of that was the benefits of staying in this apartment.

Tip: You need to sort out your rubbish into different types (plastic, cardboard, food etc) and while there is a different day for different waste to be collected, you can take all types of rubbish to a collection point either early in the morning or after 8pm everyday. To get to the collection point turn right when you come out the front door, turn right at the end of the street and the bins will be about 300m straight ahead beside a kiosk.

Excellent location

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment that seems quite spacious for it's location. There are big beautiful windows throughout to let fresh air in - we had moderate weather so did not need to use the heat or A/C though the unit has both. Jeanine oriented us quite nicely when we arrived. Laura had arranged our transport from the airport which was so helpful and comparable to the taxi rate of approx. 50 euros cash. Other than low water pressure in the shower as mentioned in other reviews, we had no issues. The building lobby is lovely, with a locked entry, the unit quite clean. The apartment is close to eateries, about a half hour walk to ancient Rome (Colosseum, etc) or Vatican city. Spanish steps (less than 10 minutes), Trevi Fountain (less than 20 min) and the Pantheon is about 15 minutes all walking. Piazza del Popolo nearby always has taxis waiting - they do take credit card payments. The apartment is close to many busy areas but located on a quiet side street so noise is not an issue. We did not feel unsafe at any point. We had a hard time finding the correct pods for the coffeemaker so the ones left there were appreciated. The clothes washer came in handy (bring your own or buy detergent) and then like everyone else in Italy, we hung dry the clothes on the small balcony - the drying racks were helpful! The wifi was fine with few users but the signal does not reach the master bedroom. There is PLENTY of storage space in the apartment both closets and shelves. There is a computer there but we did not use it. We did not realize that there would be different outlets as compared to even Paris. So we used the apartment converters WITH our European converter plugged into that and THEN were able to plug in our US plugs for phones, etc. Speaking English in the city was generally manageable, as most were quite friendly, and more than happy to speak in English with us, obviously used to tourists. So pleased that we found this place!

Absolutely brilliant, amazing place & location!

  • 5 of 5

I can't say enough wonderful things about our stay at this incredible apartment. It is just as advertised: clean, beautiful, spacious, comfortable and in a fabulous location to easily see everything Rome has to offer. Our family of 5 loved it and would absolutely stay there again. Laura is professional, easy to communicate with, and very helpful. She responded quickly to our questions and remained accessible during our stay. She arranged for a private car to collect us from the airport and even went way above and beyond to mail my daughter's homework that she left in the apartment to us! (So thankful for her!!) We walked to almost everything we wanted to see. And for the times we decided to get a taxi, there was a nearby taxi stop right there at the Piazza del Popolo, just 2 minutes from our front door. We have primary school aged children, and even discovered an excellent children's play place right across the street, where you can (for a reasonable fee) utilize their facility and excellent staff for babysitting kids of all ages. It was so wonderful to have a kid-free date night in Rome! There are excellent rated restaurants and delicious gelato places all right around the corner from this apartment, and the cafe right under our window had delicious pastries and coffee. Our whole experience here was simply delightful. Seriously, we could not have asked for more. The only thing I could note is what others have already mentioned, which is that the water pressure in the apartment won't support 2 showers at same time. So as long as you know that, it's an easy work around to just take turns. We took full advantage of the kitchen and washing machine and really loved sitting outside on the covered balcony with a glass of wine after the kids went to bed. If this place is available, I'd highly recommend booking it before someone else beats you to it! :-) Enjoy Rome!

Fantastic - Piazza del Popolo!!!

  • 5 of 5

Stayed here for 5 nights with my wife and two teenage children. The Flat has been renovated and is very modern and clean but still has a little 'Old-European' flair with the exposed ceiling. The location is ideal: not crushed with tourists yet walkable to most major sights and close to a metro stop. There is also a taxi-stand in the Piazza which we used to get to the airport! I've been to Rome many times and have never stayed in this neighborhood, but I'd definitely stay here again! Thank you Laura, we had a great time.
