The apartment is very well located, in the center of Rome (the left side of the Tevere river) just between Piazza di Spagna (the Spanish Steps) and Piazza del Popolo areas. The apartment , recently renovated is perfect for two couples or families of four, but can host up to 7 people.
The apartment is few hundred meters from Via del Corso and via di Ripetta, an area with many cafes, restaurants, fashion shops and other shops of any kind including supermarkets, a fresh vegetables market and typical small food shops all within a 5 minutes walking . At 5 minutes walking you will find also two parkings for taxis - in piazza del Popolo and Piazza di Spagna - and several 5-star hotels in the area so taxis are readily available, as well as buses and the Metro (subway) at Piazzale Flaminio.
The apartment is also at walking distance to many of the hystorichal sites such as the Trevi fountain (just renovated), the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and Campo dei Fiori.
The Villa Borghese (Pincio), one of the largest public parks in Rome, is just above Piazza del Popolo. If you have children, you can take them to the zoo or to a small lake where you will find rowing boats. They are both in Villa Borghese. You ca also hire bicycles and scooters in piazza del Popolo and Villa Borghese. Two very famous museums, the Villa Borghese and Villa Giulia, are also at walking distance from the apartment.
The apartment is located in a 15th century small building, with a small and very pretty, recently renovated, court, in a small street between via di Ripetta and via del Corso, with a nice café, where you can have breakfast and quick lunches, just in front and two typical Italian restaurants next door.
The apartment has been recently renovated and has all modern facilities. As soon as you enter you are in the large living room with a dining corner. To the right of the living room is the fully equipped kitchen and thereafter the laundry facilities from one side and the cosy terrace to the other.
To the left side of the entry is the corridor which leads to the two bedrooms and bathrooms. The two beds room is to the left with one sofa bed and another one just under it, when opened, they will become two twin beds. The bathroom with enclosed shower is opposite. Just thereafter is the master bedroom and bathroom. Master bathroom has bath tub with shower sprayer. The twin beds bedroom has a big wardrobe. Another wardrobe is in the corridor.
The living - dining room faces the street, while both bedrooms and the kitchen terrace face internal courtyards. This is very important, since the sounds of the crowded streets of Rome will not reach you when you are resting.
Keywords: between Spanish Steps and Piazza del popolo, flat recently renovated in historical building, cosy terrace, beautiful decor, Italian design

I can't say enough wonderful things about our stay at this incredible apartment. It is just as advertised: clean, beautiful, spacious, comfortable and in a fabulous location to easily see everything Rome has to offer. Our family of 5 loved it and would absolutely stay there again. Laura is professional, easy to communicate with, and very helpful. She responded quickly to our questions and remained accessible during our stay. She arranged for a private car to collect us from the airport and even went way above and beyond to mail my daughter's homework that she left in the apartment to us! (So thankful for her!!) We walked to almost everything we wanted to see. And for the times we decided to get a taxi, there was a nearby taxi stop right there at the Piazza del Popolo, just 2 minutes from our front door. We have primary school aged children, and even discovered an excellent children's play place right across the street, where you can (for a reasonable fee) utilize their facility and excellent staff for babysitting kids of all ages. It was so wonderful to have a kid-free date night in Rome! There are excellent rated restaurants and delicious gelato places all right around the corner from this apartment, and the cafe right under our window had delicious pastries and coffee. Our whole experience here was simply delightful. Seriously, we could not have asked for more. The only thing I could note is what others have already mentioned, which is that the water pressure in the apartment won't support 2 showers at same time. So as long as you know that, it's an easy work around to just take turns. We took full advantage of the kitchen and washing machine and really loved sitting outside on the covered balcony with a glass of wine after the kids went to bed. If this place is available, I'd highly recommend booking it before someone else beats you to it! :-) Enjoy Rome!
Stayed here for 5 nights with my wife and two teenage children. The Flat has been renovated and is very modern and clean but still has a little 'Old-European' flair with the exposed ceiling. The location is ideal: not crushed with tourists yet walkable to most major sights and close to a metro stop. There is also a taxi-stand in the Piazza which we used to get to the airport! I've been to Rome many times and have never stayed in this neighborhood, but I'd definitely stay here again! Thank you Laura, we had a great time.
We stayed in this apartment the last week in June. It was spacious, clean, and convenient. The temperature hit 95 while we were there so it was wonderful to be able to come back and regroup during the day. The spacious main area allowed us to have quality time with our two teen-aged grandsons.
My husband, 4 teenage children and I just stayed at this apartment. It is a very clean simple property in a perfect location. There are great places to shop and eat right outside your door. We didn't need to hire a taxi while we were there because we could walk to all the attractions. The bus and train stations are very close too. I would stay here again.
We shared this apartment with another couple and enjoyed it. It was comfortable clean and well appointed. Loved the neighborhood restaurants and the location which was within a reasonable walking distance to historic sights. The owners housekeeper met us at the door and was very helpful. The owner also left some great books and maps about Rome and its sights. I highly recommend this apartment.
My family of 5 (two adults, kids aged 9, 12 and 13) spent 4 nights in this apartment. It was in a perfect location to walk to everything. The furthest site, the Vatican, was only 25 minutes. There are several good restaurants and cafes right outside the door, and excellent gelato around the corner. Although Via del Corso is the major cross street, the apartment is located on a quiet side street (only the occasional motorbike and restaurant noise), so the apartment is relatively quiet. Having two bathrooms, a large living/dining area and an adorable little porch were fantastic. The owner was responsive and easy to deal with, and was very flexible with our check-in/check-out times. I would highly recommend this apartment for a stay in Rome, and would stay here again in a heartbeat. A few minor issues to note for other travelers. First, this is not a lift building. Although there is a lift, it is not for apartment use, so you need to be comfortable climbing steps. Second, you will hear some noise from the apartment above you (people walking around, furniture moving, talking, etc.). For those of you used to city life, this will not bother you. For those of you who are used to single family homes and are easily disturbed, you will realize that in Italy's cities, all buildings are connected and stone is a good conductor of noise. Third, as others noted, the water pressure was not ideal (two people could not shower at the same time), but the water was hot and the bathrooms were spacious. The bathrooms were clean, however, if you picked up the rubber sticky mats in the tubs so water could drain, it looked like the rubber mat and the area under it, hadn't been cleaned in some time. Finally, one minor nit-pick was the coffee. We were fully prepared to buy all our supplies, which we did at a nearby grocery store. Specifically, however, the unit had only two one-cup coffee-pods. Upon contacting the owner, she immediately told us where to buy more coffee pods and offered to come by and show us how to work the coffee pot. At the store, however, it was difficult to tell exactly which pods to buy and who wants to buy a large package of pods when the next apartment might have a different coffee system? For future visitors, I would recommend providing a reasonable number of coffee pods specific to the type of coffee maker (maybe 2 per adult each day), as well as specific instructions for each appliance. Overall, though, loved this apartment!
