Convenient beach accommodation

Perfectly located on the ground floor with close beach access, pool and parking spot nearest to front entry. The interior was as described in the listing and checkin with management was not difficult as there were responsive.

Wonderful, peaceful place!

Mother/daughter trip second year in a row staying here. Loved our condo. Very quiet, well cared for and great location. Comfy beds, and had everything we needed. We love Sanibel Moorings and will continue to go back. Staff and accommodations and beach chairs were perfect!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit 111 needs some TLC. We have stayed in many units at the Moorings throughout the years and rented two this past trip which 111 was not up to par. Everything was very cheap, toilet ran all the time, not a true two full bath as advertised, curtains didn't work and dining room light was just bulbs.

A great spot!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was very nice and in a gorgeous location. We walked right out the screen door and on to the beach. The morning sunrise was spectacular! The staff was very friendly and we felt safe with their covid protocol. Two things that could be improved- 1) The carpets needed a good cleaning, 2) The bed in the Master wasn't very comfortable. It had a memory foam topper over an old mattress. I suggest it's time to replace it! Otherwise, it was a perfect vacation spot. Thank you!

Cute place

At first glance it was charming. But there was a musty odor that lasted 2 days . I brought Lysol and a candle And sprayed Daily. There are few items that could use maintenance. I mention on the form Left in the room. Also advertised as 2 bath and is basically a jack and Jill with one shower/tub. It could use some upgrades as well. We thought it was a bit over priced for the style and furnishings, brighter lighting would Be nice too. The kitchen was stocked nicely except the knives were really dull. We liked the lanai had a table a fan as it rained 1 entire day, And we brought games to play. Over all nice complex but I think we will look for another unit next time. Bring your own beach towels or pay and if you can it’s best to have beach chairs and umbrellas be a people snag all of them up pretty early. The staff was very nice. Plus if you bring more than one car you have to pay for parking. We didn’t use any other Amenities.

Love Sanibel and all it has to offer!

Overall location is outstanding. Resort is clean and beach is beautiful. Did not receive a beachfront condo view as confirmed and paid for, which was disappointing when we arrived at checkin.

Sanibel 15 times over

Have been to Sanibel many times and was fortunate to have gotten a place at the Moorings. We've always enjoyed staying here. Management staff are very friendly and accommodating. Beautiful tropical environment and quiet. Sanibel has gotten a lot busier over the years, but the Moorings has remained quiet and peaceful. September is "off season", so we had to work around parking lot construction and painting, but not too much of a hassle. Will continue to come back as long as the price is right.
