Sanibel Weekend Travelers

The staff and management at Sanibel Moorings went above and beyond expectations to provide our family with a super lodging experience. The location of the property is awesome as it is near the Sanibel Island Causeway and within a short distance of the historic Sanibel Island Lighthouse. The unit is on the beach and beach access was convenient for our family. We will definitely return to Sanibel Moorings.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wonderful time! Beautiful grounds and landscaping , terrific staff, great view, quiet environment, hard to imagine more.The only downside is the couch cushion's need replacing. Interior is clean but could benefit from painting and overall updating. However the view is breathtaking. We look forward to returning next year.

We sat on our lanai enjoying the double rainbow after a rain and the hundreds of Dragonflies and bunnies in the front yard. Everyone in the office was super helpful and the pool area was very clean.

Great stay

Was a very nice property. Very close to the beach. A few stains on carpet but no big deal, tile floor throughout the condo would be preferable. Would definitely come again!

Our happy place!!

We have stayed on Sanibel and Captiva many times over the years and we pretty much have a formula for kayaking, bicycling, meals, etc. This is the first time that we have stayed at The Moorings and we will be back. The Island, in general is old and dated. But, it's also quiet and predictable (perfect for a quiet and relaxing get away from home. The Moorings is in a perfect location for us. Runs (or walks) on the beach, walk or bike to breakfast, and easy to reach dinners. The front desk (Rose) could not have been more responsive. If we needed something, they were very attentive and responsive. CoVid has thrown a little bit of a 'glitch' into the spontaneity of life down there, but we are vaccinated and it was good seeing that The Moorings is taking the virus seriously so that everyone can stay safe. This was a very good choice for us. :-)

Wonderful time right on the beach.

Our unit was on the bottom, no stairs, which was great. It was very clean, nice decorated and had most of what we needed to have a stress free time. the only negative was the beds in this unit are terrible. Nice clean linens can not make up for the fact that the beds we old and sunk in the sleeping areas and lumpy all over. Screen porch was nice and cool and clean. only steps from the beach. wonderful view.
