Long Pond Camp; Lakeside; Private Dock; Sunsets; Walk to Belgrade Lakes Village!

NEWLY LISTED** Fantastic central location on Long Pond, just steps away from the Village of Belgrade Lakes, with large private dock--BEST SUNSETS! Long Pond is part of a chain of 7 pristine lakes, known for its ideal swimming, boating, kayaking and some of the best fishing in New England. Our camp is located at “The Village Camps”, a private waterfront community with 7 privately owned rustic camps established in 1940s. Each camp has its own private dock, and we share approximately 350 feet of additional water frontage on an acre of land including a communal lake side outdoor stone fireplace (great place to roast marshmallows, unlimited wood in the shed included), small grassy picnic area (includes picnic bench in front of fireplace), shallow wood docks (suitable for tying up kayaks, canoes, SUPs, or other small non-motorized watercraft).

Our camp is in the center of the Village Camps, and is only STEPS from the quaint Village of Belgrade Lakes. Roll out of bed to grab your morning cup of coffee/paper/blueberry doughnut at the popular “Day's Country Store,” walk to the farmers market on Sundays, or take a nice stroll to shop or dine at the Village's local shops and restaurants (Village Inn Restaurant & Hello Good Pie Cafe are favs). Park your car and forget it during your stay!! Or fish right off the waterfall dam that runs right next to Village Camps (a favorite fishing spot on Long Pond). Belgrade itself is also home to Maine's Belgrade Lakes Golf Club, and many beautiful hiking trails along the many mountains within a few miles of our camp.

About our camp: It is a cabin, homey, clean and enjoys more modern amenities than some of the other "camps" in the area. The camp enjoys a fully equipped kitchen, its own drinkable well water, dishwasher, washer/dryer in the mud room/entry, a split for cool air downstairs, portable AC in the bunkroom, and central heat. Both bedrooms are upstairs. The lake facing smaller bedroom has one queen bed, a small work desk, and closet (this used to be a screened in porch). The larger bedroom has two separate twin bunk beds in addition to a queen bed, with a very large closet. The one bathroom in the cabin is also upstairs and has a shared tub/shower. Step outside onto the camp's large wooden deck with a gas BBQ and two picnic tables, and additional seating for larger meals overlooking the lake.

Outdoor Fun: Enjoy use of our sunset facing larger private dock with swim ladder, 4 Adirondack chairs and space to tie up your own motor boat (up to 20 feet) or other water toys. We also have our own dedicated mooring that is a short swim from the end of the dock, to tie your boat up at night, or times you will be away. From our dock you can easily kayak, canoe or boat to the new marina located at the back of Day's Country Store. Our camp comes with the use of 2 kayaks and 6 beach towels.

Within an hour's drive to many of Maine's most popular destinations and points of interest including coastal towns, beaches and outdoor recreation.

Other Things to Know: Outdoor parking next to camp for two cars tandem. No pets. If you want total privacy and seclusion this is not the spot for you, this wonderful location is just steps to town and in a shared community (our favorite things about this spot). The camp is a camp, and comes with that character.

RESERVATIONS: Rental weeks rent mostly Saturday-to-Saturday in peak season (July-mid September). Three/Four day weekends available in June and October, please inquire. Reservations are typically taken on first come first serve. Please see our rates and calendar availability.

CHECK-IN: Check in anytime after 3:30 pm and CHECK-OUT 11:00 am sharp. Looking for quiet families who will treat cabin like their own.

RENTAL AGREEMENT:
*$250 RETURNABLE SECURITY DEPOSIT, PLUS 50% OF ENTIRE RENTAL BALANCE DUE ALONG WITH RETURNED SIGNED RENTAL AGREEMENT WITHIN 3 BUSINESS DAYS. REMAINING BALANCE DUE 60 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL DATE (unless otherwise noted).
CANCELLATIONS BY RENTER AT LEAST 60 DAYS PRIOR TO THEIR ARRIVAL DATE, ALL MONIES WILL BE RETURNED. IF RENTER CANCELS DURING THE 60 DAYS PRIOR TO THEIR ARRIVAL DATE, I) RENTAL MONIES WILL BE RETURNED ONLY IF WE CAN RE-RENT THE ENTIRE RENTAL PERIOD, AND II) THE $250 SECURITY DEPOSIT WILL BE RETURNED, MINUS A $150 PROCESSING FEE. **PLEASE LET US KNOW ASAP IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL SO WE CAN AVOID ANY PROBLEMS.
