Gorgeous home, 2 blocks from the beach!

Enjoy vacationing at this spacious and recently renovated home two blocks from the beach! Walkable to the ocean and Cookman Avenue dining and shopping, this gracious home provides large gathering spaces as well as cozy nooks for lounging and reading. Enjoy morning coffee on the front porch swing or an afternoon snooze in the backyard hammock. You’ll be close enough to the beach to feel the ocean breezes. And who knows? You just might see Bruce pop into the legendary Stone Pony, which is just one block away.

The house has several zones for relaxing and socializing—one group can enjoy drinks on the patio while another has quiet time in the living room, another watches a game in the second floor TV area, and the kids play ping pong and watch movies on the third floor.

Asbury Park has something for everyone. Early risers can run, walk, bike or do yoga on the boardwalk and beach. Take a surf lesson at Summertime Surf or play the vintage pinball games at Silverball. See live music at Asbury Lanes, the Stone Pony, or the Wonder Bar. Dining runs the gamut from Korean tacos at Mogo, to the best sandwiches ever at Speakeatery, to farm to table dining at Heirloom. Enjoy the crafts and fresh produce at the Sunday farmer’s market in Library Square Park, two blocks away. Cookman Avenue, a short walk from the house is a fun food and shopping destination.

First floor: You’ll enter into a large living room featuring three sofas, which is perfect for gathering or relaxing. This room flows into a second living room and dining room with built in cabinets full of games and puzzles, and a table that seats eight comfortably.

Continue through the dining room to a game room with a pool table and window seat. The adjacent kitchen boasts a large island with five stools, a television, and brand-new stainless-steel appliances, including two ovens. We love to cook, and the gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with a food processor, KitchenAid mixer, coffee maker, toaster oven, microwave, blender, InstaPot and plenty of cookware and bakeware. There’s also a cheery powder room on this floor.

French doors in the kitchen lead out to a large deck and patio with a large grill. The tree-shaded deck holds a picnic table that easily seats 10. Adirondack chairs and a firepit provide the perfect setting for storytelling and s’mores. And the landscaped flower beds and trellises boast perennials that bloom from May through October.

The mudroom, with a separate entrance off the front porch, is equipped with ample beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, sand toys and boogie boards. You’ll find bikes and a paddleboard in the garage.

Second floor: Climb the front stairs from the entryway to the second floor to find a large sitting area with a television for watching your favorite shows and movies. Borrow a book from our extensive collection and read on the couch or on the chaise in the master bedroom. The bright master bedroom faces east. It has a king-sized bed with a Leesa memory foam mattress and two mid-century modern dressers.

Working from home? A light-filled office next to the master bedroom has a large built-in desk, a reading chair, and bookcases filled with novels and children’s books.

There are three other bedrooms on this floor (for a total of four bedrooms): one has a queen-sized bed with a pull out trundle for King comfort. One has a twin bed with trundle for Queen comfort , and one has a queen-sized bed. There is also a desk in this bedroom.

The second floor also has a laundry room with new washer and dryer, and two newly renovated bathrooms. Both bathrooms are beautifully tiled and have double sink vanities. One has a two-person walk-in shower with multiple showerheads and wall sprayers; the other has a large jacuzzi tub and shower.

The third floor is a large open space with a very large TV, bean bag chairs, a ping pong table, and window seat/reading nook—you can see the ocean from there! There’s also an exercise bike on this floor.

All sheets and towels are high quality, 100% cotton.

The house comes with four season beach passes.

Parking is provided for one car; others can park on the street.
