Camp Colby your cozy getaway in Hadley, featuring a lakefront cabin with three bedrooms. The sleeping arrangements include one queen bed with lake views, one bunk bed with a twin trundle, and one queen bed, providing ample space for guests.

The cabin includes a full bath with a shower and hairdryer for convenience. Additionally, there are two living rooms, each with comfortable sofa beds. A large table is a great spot to eat together, play games, and gather after a fun day on the lake. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a drip coffee maker and Keurig.

Great desk looking out to the lake with free wifi makes the perfect work station !

Outdoor amenities include a fire pit overlooking the lake, a staircase leading down to a large dock, and stunning views all around. Whether relaxing by the fire or utilizing the WiFi, Camp Colby promises a memorable retreat for guests. You're sure to make fantastic memories with a stay at our place.

Water level in the GSL is not the same all season long. The beach and water level are subject to Mother Nature and the regulating district, which controls the water in the GSL.

April - usually no beach, high water.
May - usually no beach, high water.
June - usually little to no beach, water begins to drop.
July - maybe some beach. More likely in the second half of the month.
August - usually plenty of beach.
Sept - plenty of beach, water dropping. Less deep water for boats.
Oct - water level usually low, dock is pulled in.

Great property! Perfect location!

Camp Colby is the best place in the area because you don't have to cross the road to get to the lake unlike most of the houses there where you have to. The fire pit with the view of the lake, mountains and the sunset is amazing. We really enjoyed the quiet and private location with our dog. Thank you Emo for a great stay!

Perfect Family Getaway

Camp Colby was the perfect setting for our family to gather and enjoy the serene beauty of Great Lake Sacandaga. The kids loved swimming off the dock and we enjoyed sitting around the fire pit singing songs. The host provided flexibility with our dates and was incredibly responsive and accommodating to our needs. We highly recommend this cozy cabin for family gatherings.

The perfect getaway

The most beautiful location! Gorgeous views as we sat around the campfire. The cabin is great- very comfortable with 2 large living room areas and options to eat inside and out. We used the paddle board to explore the lake. The weekend was relaxing, peaceful, and rejuvenating. We can’t wait to go back!

Perfect getaway

This property is incredible. The hosts have created a perfect getaway. The property has everything you could need. The view of the lake is spectacular. There are beautiful hikes nearby, kayaks and a SUP to use, a wonderful fire pit, and lots of games. The house itself is a very charming Adirondack home with direct access to a private dock and the lake.

Great location

The cabin is easily accessible, spacious, and clean.Communication with the host was great. The information provided in the digital guide was helpful. The hikes suggested were excellent. Being only May, with high waters, a bit rainy, a bit windy we weren’t able to use the dock, so we’ll have to return in summer time. Fall season has to be gorgeous too. Regardless, we enjoyed every minute of our stay.Thank you!

Camp Colby was a perfect getaway! Absolutely loved the direct access to the lake! We were able to also use the kayaks that were provided by the host for a relaxing paddle around the lake. My son was able to fish from many areas of the surrounding land. Camp Colby is exactly how described by the host. It has everything you might need with perfect views of the lake from the bedroom, top porch and from the main dining area (which we ate breakfast at each morning!). The beds were comfortable with soft sheets. The fireplace downstairs keeps it extra warm on the cool nights. The fire pit outside was awesome with the chairs to look out at the lake. The place is rustic but with updates. The host has great communication! Definitely worth the stay and hope to return in the summer!

Great Sacandaga Lake is a treasure!

A very clean, well outfitted camp. Great spot on a beautiful lake. It was warm this weekend and grateful for the multiple tower fans. Host was very thorough with instructions and recommendations to make our stay enjoyable. Rare to find a clean and attractive camp that is pet friendly. We appreciated that as did our rescue, Marabelle. The host’s recommendation for ice cream was spot on - Bon’s - fantastic soft serve!
