Such a great spot for my son. He needed a place close to campus to stay due to his roommate being really sick. The price was perfect and hospitality of management was great!!! This place saved my son, especially since it was during finals!
Overall it is a nice little casita. However, the temperatures outside were over 100 during my stay and the tiny wall unit air conditioner in the living room and bedroom was not enough to cool the apartment. Both units ran 24/7 and still the temperature inside was 80 degrees. The bathroom was so hot it melted my makeup. Otherwise the furnishings were nice and the place was clean
We really like this little rental. The things that bothered us are probably due to owners use of a management company. We felt we needed to be generous in our review because it’s a good location, good price. However, when we arrived the stove hood and cupboards above it as well as the stove top needed to have a pile of plaster cleaned up because the roof had leaked. There were also signs of leaking in the living room but the only damage seemed to be a wall hanging that suddenly fell by itself to the floor. When I noticed black marks on the bathroom floor when my husband got out of the shower, I did a quick clean up with paper towels and realized the entire (very nice) tile floor was covered with a film of black dust. This, after being directed to remove our shoes if possible upon entering the house. The outlets in the kitchen were a bit unusual. We had trouble plugging the coffee pot in. We consulted our son, an electrician, who said it was ok, they are 20 amp outlets. So I pushed that plug in even though it felt like I was breaking it and the coffee perked fine. The pullout couch is rather uncomfortable. Just count on the one queen bed. But we really did like this rental. Almost forgot to mention the huge cardboard box inside the door—a new toilet! But the toilet looked brand new in the apartment. Guess it was just being stored there. We moved it to a corner. Heavy.
