La casa tiene 3 dormitorios y 2 baños, uno con bañera en el nivel superior y otro con ducha en el nivel de la terraza inferior. La villa cuenta con una espectacular sala de estar, comedor y cocina de planta abierta con enormes ventanas que dan al océano, el frente terraza de nivel superior y la piscina. Un lugar perfecto para ver los atardeceres nocturnos. La unidad está amueblada en un estilo tropical con muebles caribeños y ventiladores de techo. La unidad está totalmente equipada con sábanas, toallas, plancha, mesa portátil de hierro, vajilla, cubertería, ollas y sartenes. Hay una lavadora y secadora, y la cocina cuenta con todos los electrodomésticos, incluyendo microondas y máquina de hielo. La sala de estar y una de las habitaciones tiene televisión por cable. Un televisor de pantalla plana de alta definición de 50 "con canales de cable HD en la sala de estar, un reproductor de CD y un televisor de pantalla plana de alta definición de 32" con canales básicos de cable en una habitación. Hay una modesta biblioteca de CD con películas de acción, drama y niños, documentales de viajes de varios países y espectáculos musicales.

En la terraza interior inferior hay una barbacoa, mesa de billar, mesa de dominó y otros juegos de mesa, como ajedrez, cheker chino, etc. También hay una ducha al aire libre en la terraza del nivel inferior.

Our stay at this beautiful beach house in Manatí, PR was absolutely wonderful! The home itself was stunning, spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated with breathtaking ocean views that made every morning feel like a dream. The neighborhood was peaceful and safe, perfect for a relaxing getaway.The host was incredibly kind and professional, always quick to respond and very accommodating. We did experience a brief water outage for a couple of days, but that was an island-wide issue and completely out of the host’s control. Everything else about our stay was perfect, and we truly appreciated how attentive and helpful the host was throughout our trip.Highly recommend this property, can’t wait to come back!

Better than the pictures.

We had an incredible stay at the villa illusion. The host and manager of the property was prompt with responses and fixed the very minor issues we had in a very timely manner. The house is set on a hillside with an incredible view of the ocean. A five minute walk to Mar Chiquita. The house was stocked with everything we needed apart from groceries which is obvious. The house was very clean and easy to find and check into. We would and plan to stay here again.

Wonderful house!

Group of 6 adult friends had a wonderful stay at this property. We spent a ton of time in the yard/pool - the view was fantastic! The hosts are remarkably fast to respond/communicate - we would stay here again. Neighborhood was quiet/safe and short walk to Mar Chiquita.

Great getaway

We loved our stay at this property. The pool and view were perfect plus we had all the amenities we could ask for. There was a grocery close by and we ate in good restaurants in Manati and Vega Baha. The property owners were very communicative. We would stay here again!

Beautiful Views

This is a beautiful beach house. We would rate it all 5 stars but there are a couple little things that might be an issue for some people and we made the best of. Little things are in need of upkeep. Sheets could be replaced. Paint is peeling in several places. Patio chairs were rusty. The house next door does have barking dogs. Mainly barking late at night or 4am. The alarm system has a VERY loud door chime that is too loud when others are sleeping. Plus side was lots of quality towels, good sized pool and air in the bedrooms.

Beautiful Ocean Vista

This is a beautiful property and a great space for entertainment. Once we got into the house, we went to the grocery store which was at the end of the road about three minutes away. It has most everything you need to get started but if you need more bulk items, there is a Walmart 15 minutes from the house. Kitchen was well equipped with all the standard appliances and utensils. While at the house, the kids stayed in the pool and when they weren’t in the pool, there were using the pool table. Those two things kept them busy for hours. The outdoor “kitchen” area is great for adults as well. It has an oversized grill, wet bar, drink fridge and wine fridge with plenty of seating to entertain while looking at the pool and ocean.There is a great beach 5 minutes from the house with a lava reef protecting it from the ocean. Wear water socks or have sandals/shoes as you will want to climb up the lava reef/wall for some great views.There is a great restaurant 5 minutes from the house the owners recommended. We tried it on our last night and it was well worth it. It has fantastic food!A few of the cons of the property:No hot water upstairs in the kitchen or bathroom. The down stairs shower has hot water but only of you keep the water pressure low. It took us two days to figure that out. The shower handle came off at one point, but the owner had it fixed that afternoon. Most of the adults founds the beds to be very uncomfortable.Biggest drawback was lack of hot water.

The beauty of Villa Ilusion becomes an illusion once you enter the property!

We booked 10 nights there are lot of problems in the house but I will do short because no space.1. dishes and house were dirty, we cleaned dishes, bought some towels and salat bowls from Ithe local supermarket.2. Ice maker was not working (it was fixed next day and we had to stay all day there waiting for the handy men to come)3. No HOT WATER whatsoever, will not be in the nearest future, unless the owner invests serious money to get a normal water heater and not solar heather.4. The water pressure was not there, I took some pictures of each problem but unfortunately I can not download it that you and see what I mean by NO WATER PRESSURE. Water was hardly flowing from the shower.5. Beds were very small and uncomfortable, the air conditioning were in the bedrooms only, so the bedroom was cold and leaving room/kitchen hot. 6. There was only 1 closet, once we saw it we did not unpack our luggages. Tiny and lot of other items there that were not supposed to be there.7. Water pump was leaking badly, that was the main reason why there were no water pressure in the shower. 8. Pool was filthy dirty. they cleaned it TWICE while we were there and from 10 night we were "allowed" to use the pool only 2 days.The view is wonderful!!! The area is fenced and our cat was happy!Now you know what really you can expect.from the house!

Family gathering

This ocean view property met our expectations. The online listing was accurate. It was very clean and has a serene and beautiful view. The check-in process was smooth. Communication with property manager was excellent! I will definitely rent this place again.

Awesome views and a great place to relax.

Fernando's Villa Illusion is a rare gem perched some 60 feet above the thundering waves on the North coastline on a limestone cliff. To get to an actual beach requires a 5 minute walk down to Mar Chiquita. Right or left of that beach are over 2 miles of other coves, limestone cliffs and coastal rainforests in each direction where we hardly saw another person. Be wary of extremely strong currents and waves crashing directly onto coral... Beautiful area but it's wild so be cautious. The house itself is perfect for a large family with an awesome deck overlooking the ocean and crystal clear warm pool below. For a house subject to 24x7 sea salt spray it is in fantastic condition and well appointed inside with a full kitchen and plenty of room. All the ductless bedroom air conditioners work splendidly. As far as some of the former complaints of dogs, there are two remaining older dogs as of 4/2024 and they do occasionally bark but we didn't have any problem with them. The yard is beautifully landscaped and Fernando deserves a lot of credit for keeping this place in great shape. The "neighborhood" is upscale and rural. There is a locking gate and full perimeter fence although we never felt the slightest bit uneasy around any of the friendly locals. Some of the more remote parking areas need common sense precautions like taking everything with you. Remember good water shoes if you go as all the coral is very sharp and there are many urchins you don't want bare feet around!

Overall Great

We stayed here as a baseball team for a tournament. The view and location were simply amazing. The owners were always available for any questions we had. We have zero complaints. That being said, there are some things that I would like to inform people. There are two dogs next door that continually bark. This is out of the owners control and it did not bother us, but I can't speak for everyone else. There was also issues with hot water due to the water pressure. We ended up getting warmer water by the end of our stay, but the first couple days took some getting used to. The owner came by to try to fix the issue and I believe he finally did. Our group consisted on 6 men 30+ years old that didn't mind these issues that were out of his control. It was overall a fantastic stay and we would gladly stay here again.

Beautiful home overlooking the ocean.

We all had a very good time at the pool and playing games that they had for us there pool tables, cornhole, dominoes that we played almost every other night and swim in the pool quite a bit when it was hot during the day it had a beautiful beach to walk on down below. The owners were absolutely wonderful. We got to meet at the end of our day. Hope to see them again.

Puerto Rico Trip

Views are amazing from the backyard and balcony. Outdoor entertainment space and pool were accommodating. The owner was pleasant to speak with and responded to concerns about a non-working water heater and septic cleanout overflowing during the first day of the stay. Neighbor to left has three dogs, and one barked continuously and the neighbor did nothing about it. The property is overpriced in my opinion. The inside of the house could use a deep clean, updating and organizing. Also, there was an issue with water pressure that fluctuated from day to day. Kitchen stove only has three working burners due to a missing knob. Gas grill is missing the ignitor button and showing age. Washing machine does not fill or drain properly and this is possibly due to the water pressure. Overall, the experience was mediocre and did not meet my expectations.

Second time staying here.

The location and property is a perfect place for families looking to enjoy a local Puerto Rico experience in a safe and quiet neighborhood. You are within walking distance to Mar Chiquita, and a very short drive to Mar Bella. The hosts are very responsive, and whether you want to relax by the pool over looking the ocean, or head out and explore local spots, there is plenty to keep you busy. We love this location, and will definitely be back.

🌞 Ocean View - Great Location - Excellent Hosts!

The view, the view, the VIEW! Could not get enough of it. Fernando and Margarita are wonderful hosts. Very easy to reach and quick to respond to our questions. The house had everything we needed. The weather was very hot during our stay so we really appreciated the excellent air conditioning in the bedrooms. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of dishes, pots/pans, utensils. Cabinet is loaded with spices which was great as we like our spices! We really enjoyed the downstairs kitchen with grill. Mar Chiquita beach is only a 2 minute drive. Other public beaches are not too far away. Plenty of places to shop and eat nearby as well. The central location made it especially convenient for us venture out to both ends of the island. It was wonderful to be able to end our busy days back at Villa Illusion where we could relax, enjoy the pool, and listen to the ocean sounds. Fernando and Margarita - Thank you for your hospitality!

I am not much of a person to leave reviews. This was our first time on a family vacation to PR. The communication with Fernando is excellent and he is the type of person that will go out of his way, for an unforgettable vacation experience. You will truly experience a beautiful landscaped scenery, with a breathtaking view overlooking the pool and ocean. For family gatherings, it has everything you need for the perfect entertainment. The inside is clean, It can use some upgrades on the mattresses, however, I was here for a family vacation and enjoyed this place and PR to the fullest. l

Villa illusion

What an amazing vacation! Villa illusion was a beautiful home with an amazing view of the beach. My favorite days of the trip may have been the ones spent in the hammock on the porch reading and listening to the ocean. The kitchen is stocked with cooking utensils and spices, making meal prep easy. There are a few restaurants close by, plenty within a 20 minute drive. A car is a necessity, though. The bedrooms have AC. We tried not to use it the first few nights so we could hear the ocean, but even in April, it was warm enough that we needed it. Fernando was very responsive to questions and needs, both with questions about the house and local recommendations! There is a nice beach within walking distance. The location was a great launching point to explore both the east and west of Puerto Rico. We can’t wait to go back!

This place was great for our group- we were walking distance to the beach, close to a grocery store and amazing restaurant. We made many meals here as well. It had everything we needed. The views just sitting in the hammock on the back porch was so relaxing and tranquil. We loved it and we’d stay here again in the future.

Great Spring Break!!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. The house was very well furnished and had everything we could need. Although our timing coming in and leaving out did not work with meeting the home owner, Fernando, he was very prompt at returning text messages when we had questions and was a pleasure to deal with. We would love to come back and stay at this house.

Wonderful

We absolutely love this house and its location! The owner's are incredibly kind and thoughtful and make the entire process a breeze. The pool is amazing, the view is amazing, and our family has now had two wonderful vacations while staying here. It's close enough to the beach that you can walk, and there are great restaurants close by as well. There is a Walmart about 15 minutes away for groceries and supplies if needed. The local market is just down the street. The bedrooms have AC, which is a total plus. The beds are comfortable, the house is clean and well appointed. We cannot wait to come back!

outstanding space by the ocean

Fernando and Margarita have a lovely home by the ocean. The outside space here is amazing. Lots of spaces to hang out by the pool, on an outside covered porch. The inside had 3 very adequate bedrooms. The second bathroom was downstairs, so harder to use . The owner was very responsive to our needs, and very helpful with local recommendations. This part of Puerto Rico is pretty rural , so you had to travel a bit if you wanted to do anything outside of local smalll restaurants. There is a lovely beach very close to house, but pretty rugged shoreline all along the North coast of PR But the house and owner are great!
