This space is just lovely! Everything about my experience was top-notch, from the check-in process forward. The apartment is spotless, quiet, and within walking distance of the beach, The Miller's Thumb and Willey's. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a special get-away in a special place.
We did come here the night of the flood that damaged much of this part of Vermont-but the space was cozy and comfortable and we were able to bake cookies and play games and watch movies until the sun came out! So convenient to have Willey’s and the beach right down the street too- we are very fond of both! Loved our stay!!!
This modern, clean, and very nicely appointed upstairs apartment in the center of Greensboro, VT village is the perfect place for a long getaway weekend any season. The proprietor has thought of every amenity, including wifi, and when you're out and about there's plenty to do-Caspian Lake is a 5 minute walk, and there's a general store for groceries, cute gift shops, galleries, a world class beer brewery, and casual restaurants either within walking distance or a short drive. The town of Greensboro is charming and "down to earth"--the whole area is very worth a visit.
Although I live in a neighboring town I did not know Greensboro well. My house was being prepared for sale so I needed a short-term stay. My stay became a vacation! The apartment is outfitted beautifully. The lake is a stone's throw away and conveniences are the same.
Joanne was tremendous! I hope I have the opportunity to return soon.
Property is even better than the listing. Spotless. High end appliances and kitchen amenities. Bathroom spacious. Many lovely upgrades and features. Newly renovated. Extremely comfortable beds and pillows. Quiet location in very friendly small village. Convenient to all locations. Highly recommend. Host responds rapidly.
My son had the week off with no plans, so I booked the Greensboro Garage apartment for a 3-night stay. We have friends in the Coventry area so the location was great for visiting them plus other local attractions: Lake Willoughby, The Museum of Everyday Life, Parker Pie, a hike up nearby Barr Hill, and a longer trip to Caledonia Spirits in Montpelier.
The apartment is beautiful! The kitchen is great, very well stocked. Beds were very comfortable. The bathroom with the shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel amenities was quite nice. Although one might assume that the location above a working garage might be noisy, it was not! In fact, the apartment is remarkably quiet, especially at night.
Joann is a superb host. Very communicative and accommodating. I recommend the rental and would certainly stay here again.
This apartment is spacious, modern, clean, and very beautifully decorated. The bed was very comfortable. You get to this large automotive garage and you're thinking "wait, what?" Then you step into an imaginative refuge. I hesitate saying too much because I want it to always be available when we visit our daughter nearby. The only caveat: no sleeping in after 8 (7?) am on weekdays. There is busy work going on underneath you with cars and it makes a little bit of noise. Not very much. But we are among those who get up and at it. Not a problem for us.
