We had a great stay and really enjoyed the house. The neighborhood was very cute and quiet. The house was a great location and right down the street from the wedding we were attending. Everything was very clean also.
This home did not disappoint. Carla was very pleasant to work with from start to finish! The home was older but perfect. My husband kept saying how much he loved it and it was bringing him back to his childhood. There was no item or detail not considered. Every dish and utensil we needed for preparing meals, they had. Great instructions upon entry for details such as WiFi.There was plenty of storage, hangers and luggage racks to get settled and not “live out of suitcases”. Bedding and beds were comfortable, cozy spare blankets in each closet if needed. The neighborhood was very peaceful (except for an occasional train in the distance). The train did not bother us because is was so quiet. They also had great little additions in the garage like beach chairs, beach toys, coolers, folding lawn rocking chairs, two bikes and more. My granddaughter loves to rock at nap time so we used those chairs for rocking at the at the ballfields at nap time! Carla even let us borrow one after check out to use at the field (we were in town for lacrosse). We returned it after the game. Our favorite part was the added bonus room. Very comfy extra space with couches, TV and recliner. We’d been there a few hours before finding that room (we thought we were going to look outside to see the yard) and much to our surprise it was a wonderful space to relax and watch tv.We would definitely stay again and recommend. Thanks Carla for a great place to stay!
This house was a great place to stay, and we look forward to booking again with this same owner. It was clean, well-stocked, the rooms were large and overall, a very nice house for the value. The owner was very quick to respond to questions and initial entry into the property was simple. Thank you so much!
This was our final destination in a 3-leg vacation to the PNW. The owner communication, while short, was prompt and responsive. The house was very clean and this rental had the best linens of any VRBO I've stayed in hands down (and I've stayed in about 20 over the last 5 years). Kitchen equipment was clean and the kitchen itself was large for the size of the house, which is excellent for preparing meals. The patio was lovely and the view made it a great place for dining. The setting was absolutely lovely and quiet/peaceful and the location was extremely convenient. Coupeville was our favorite town on the island. My only very small critique is that there is very small signage out front, so if you are unfamiliar with the area, you have to be very careful to follow host instructions to find the place to a tee. Our GPS had a hard time keying in on the exact location. It could be that the local authorities don't allow large signage, but the address numbers could use better illumination or contrast on the sign. It wasn't impossible, however. Just follow written instructions. This was an excellent place to stay and I would highly recommend it to fellow travelers.
