4/1/2025 UPDATE: Turtle's Tiki Bar & Grille and Shima Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar are open to our rental guests. Sundial Resort is offering Sundial Daycation passes from Wednesday to Sunday (main pool, beach chair, and umbrella service) on a limited basis through March 31, 2026 (reservation required: 866-565-5093 or sundialresort.com for details and cost). Also, discounted Sundial Resort day passes are available on a first-come, first-served basis ($25/day adults, $15/day kids) with valid proof of rental booking. No advanced reservations accepted. Availability of these day passes is not guaranteed, as advance sale day passes can sell out.

This inviting second-floor unit features a spacious screened lanai, complete with a spiral staircase leading down to a private cabana, ideal for entertaining guests or for a relaxing dinner amid refreshing Gulf breezes. The unit features an open floor plan and a luxurious aesthetic throughout, along with a versatile den that can be converted into a private sleeping space.

This Sanibel Island vacation rental is part of the luxurious Gulf-front Sundial Beach Resort & Spa. Our guests can access many of the resort's amenities, including the beach, the HOA Pool for the R-S-T buildings is still closed until further notice, but guests can use the O-P-Q pool, tennis and pickleball courts, BBQ Grills, and resort restaurants and spa. With all the comforts of home, Sundial R201 ensures a memorable and rejuvenating stay on Sanibel Island.

Sundial beach vacation

We enjoyed our week on Sundial. The downstairs storage/ lanai is very convenient for our beach gear. We had fun having lunch poolside. Everything was very clean, check in was easy. Kitchen and bathrooms were nicely remodeled. The unit had puzzles and toys for our children which was a nice bonus. We were bummed the nearby pool was under construction, but it will be nice when completed. The beds and bedding were stiff and uncomfortable. We look forward to vacationing again at Sundial.

Almost perfect

The location and property were lovely and accurate. We had rented the property because of the amenities it appeared were included, or at least available to join. My husband and I were able to use the tennis facilities, but none of the other amenities were. Specifically, we wanted to use the workout facility, the bikes, and the kayaks.

We do try to list out all of the amenities included within our descriptions and, for this particular property, the description written is accurate as to what is accessible when renting. It is actually a rule of the resorts that the only way to have full access to their amenities is to book directly through the resort itself. This is one of the reasons that our properties rent at a lower rate. We do hope to see you again and would be happy to have one of our employees help you find your next perfect getaway.
