Best place to stay in the Williams AZ area

This is our second time at this cabin and it will not be our last. It is a charming and very comfortable luxury cabin in the woods on a quiet road. It is a great place to just relax but it is also an easy drive to Williams, the Polar Express, Grand Canton Railroad, Bearizona, hiking, and other attractions. The cabin was prefect for our 5 adults and 4 children.

Smoking and lack of consideration for health concerns

This cabin was hardly what can be called luxurious. The property had no reviews, but we naively trusted VRBO’s premier host stamp. We were greeted by very strong cigarette smoke in all the rooms and furniture. Had to double check if I had accidentally booked a smoking property. We had a baby, a toddler and multiple asthmatics with us. We were uncomfortable to the point where it was difficult to sleep at night due to the odor getting into the bedding/furniture. Spent as little time in the cabin as possible due to this and were offered not a penny’s worth of refund/compensation or real solution besides having a cleaning crew come in and “mask” the smell with synthetic fragrances, which can further exasperate breathing problems. The owners offered their next door cabin (which was smaller) but we booked this for a family reunion, so we didn’t want to split up the party. When we pressed them about compensation the owners completely ghosted us (stopped responding). Additionally, my dad is a physician and was on call the evenings we stayed to answer emergency medical questions overnight by phone.  To his dismay, none of the master bedroom outlets worked, so he had to charge his phone outside the room at night. Think twice before booking this cabin.
