It's a really cool place on a fantastic Lake that my family has been going to for longer than I've been around. I didn't understand that when it said towels provided there wouldn't be soap or shampoo, so that maybe on me. The view is phenomenal and if you want to sleep in the morning you better be sure to close those blinds because it's on the west side of the lake and the sky starts to get bright this time of year before 4:00. Water is super shallow on the way out. Super close walk to the boat Landing. A caught a 28 inch walleye
I had a lovely solo getaway here. The host was very friendly and responsive. The shack is simple and has everything you need for a few nights away. The bed was comfortable. I loved drinking coffee and reading off the dock each morning. The lake is crystal clear and so clean!
The host is kind and accommodating, check in and out was super easy, and the lake veiw is beautiful. The area is very quiet and peaceful. The floore was pretty dirty, definitely leave shoes on inside, but it did seem to partially be from renovations.
Adorable , clean and updated cabin. Everything you needed was supplied. The views were amazing. Definitelywill come back. Oh and the beach is sandy and shallow for little kids but too shallow for fishing off the dock. I give it a 10!!
Unfortunately, I did not get to enjoy a night here. The extreme cold weather (-30 degrees) kept me from checking in on Friday night, so I ended up checking in on Saturday Morning. Cabin was wonderful, super clean and very rustic. Perfect for a weekend away.I was in town for a conference at the local casino, so I checked in, scoped the place out, and left for the day.Upon my arrival after the conference, i walked in, turned the lights on and found the cabin flooded with water. A pipe must have froze up (it was -22 when I got back) causing the connections on the water softener to come loose and flood the house.I messaged the owner right away. He lives next door and came right over. We got the water shut off and contained the flooding. The owner did refund me some of my money for the stay. I do look forward to staying there at some point when the weather isn't so cold!!Thanks for everything!!
Was not crazy about the bunk beds but that was my husband’s fault for not reading the listing closely. I would’ve brought my air mattress to sleep next to my husband if I had known
Wonderful stay. Cookout on the fire pit and waking up to a beautiful morning sitting on the deck.Thank you Jullian for sharing a part of your family with us.
