2 Bedroom cabin sleeps 4
on Lake Minocqua and 2 blocks from the Bearskin Trail, a 17 mile hiking, biking, and walking trail. Cabin features swimming pier with raft, and fishing piers, gas fireplace, air conditioning, cable TV , Wireless internet and DVD Player. Cabin is updated with hardwood floors, newer beds and mattresses.

Fire pits are on the property for that evening relaxation. We have sand boxes and a swing set for children. A fish cleaning house is available for the dinner you caught! CABIN HAS AIR CONDITIONING AND SEVERAL CEILING FANS.

PONTOON BOAT that is 20 feet long with BRAND NEW FISH LOCATOR/DEPTH FINDER, and seating for 8 can be rented with the cabin for reasonable rates. Pontoon boat is powered with a 40 HP 4 STROKE YAMAHA. BOAT CAN BE RENTED SEPARATELY FROM THE CABIN ON THE MINOCQUA CHAIN OF LAKES. OWNER’S CONTACT-715-614-0582.

Great location-very nice pontoon boat we rented for the week-the cabin was very clean and well maintained-caught a large variety of fish-lots of wildlife to enjoy-perfect weather during our stay-Lisa is very thorough and professional, a pleasure to deal with. Trig’s was very close for grocery shopping. Lots of little shops downtown-really close to the Bearskin Trail for walking and bike riding.

Central Location in town of Minocqua

Comfortable cabin, very clean, very cozy. Nice little deck you can look over lake. Easy to find. Owner was very accessible, she was there to meet us when we arrived, texted while we were there to make sure everything was good, and was there early Monday morning to check us out. Being able to rent the pontoon boat for our stay was so convenient! It is in great condition! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Fall color week

Close in to Minocqua (good) but view across the lake was of city retail area and traffic. Cabin was comfortable but kitchen could use a few updates. Owner was exceptional in terms of advance planning and personally ensuring we had all the necessary information for an enjoyable stay.

Weekend Away

This was the perfect location for us! We parked our car on arrival and didn't use it until we left. We could walk (bear skin trail was a few blocks away ant the whole wale was less than a mile) or boat over to Minocqua for everything! We could fish off the dock as well or take the boat anywhere! The area was quiet and peaceful and again easy access to everything. The cabin was perfect for the 2 of us! I would highly recommend this location! Description is spot on and the owner is great to communicate with!

Cozy cottage in a beautiful spot

Enjoyed our stay at this sweet little cottage. The cabin is slightly off the beaten path which we enjoyed but allows for quick access to the fun and sights of the northwoods. We were there during the week when it was quiet and the fall color was perfect. Lisa is an experienced host, easy to contact. Sorry we were not able to meet in person. Thanks Lisa!

Wonderful!

This cabin was perfect for my husband and I. Very comfortable. Lisa is a great host! The location is perfect. You can walk to downtown minocqua in 15 min on the Bearskin Trail. Lots of deer in the neighborhood along with eagles and loons.

Minocqua Cabin

The owner met us at the cabin shortly after our arrival and went over the features of the cabin, demonstrating for us how to operate the gas fireplace, and the pontoon boat. The cabin was very comfortable, the fireplace was more than adequate to take the chill out on a chilly fall morning. In no time the temperature was 80 degrees, and the boat ran perfectly. Beautiful lake and great location away from but close enough to town. We discovered no hot water on our first full day, the owner came within the hour to troubleshoot, then tried to reach a plumber without success. We were without hot water for our full 4 day stay The owner offered daily to let us shower at a family members home but we declined and instead guests of a neighboring cabin allowed us to use their shower. The owner learned after our departure that she would have to replace the hot water heater and gave us back one days rent to compensate and offered another day free on our next stay.

Girls’ Weekend

We loved our weekend in Minocqua! The cabin was just as described in VRBO except the description doesn’t capture the cleanliness and service we got! The cabin was spotless. Lisa was very easy to work with and went out of her way to accommodate us. The kitchen, while small, is very well equipped. The refrigerator and stove are older but work great and lend charm, It is just what a cabin on a lake should be. It had 2 bedrooms and enough room for 5 people. The queen bed I slept in was very comfortable.. There was a small deck off of the cabin and a fire pit down by the lake. There was another one available up top, There were several picnic tables we could use and two grills... gas and charcoal. The gas one we used was immaculate and was a brand new Weber. We were close to grocery stores and downtown but felt we were in the woods too. I read the review by the older couple and don’t see what they had to complain about. The cabin was very comfortable. Some people just can’t be pleased, I guess.

Small but excellent cabin up north

My husband and I wanted a small cabin in the Minocqua area and this was exactly what we wanted. It was clean and comfortable, but not extravagant. We have a boat so we were able to explore the chain of lakes this cottage was located on. It was also a short walk to the Bearskin Trail. The only drawback to me was that it was facing the city of Minocqua on the lake. Not quite the deep dark woods of up north.

Minocqua cabin

The toilet was very small and was hard to flush... the owner needs to buy a new sofa and easy chair.. one good chair in the whole place.... the refrigerator needed defrosting.. old stove and refrigerator.. very hard to cook on cook top as there was no light above it..just generally nothing we would go back to! Beds were the best part of the place!

Perfect little vacation

The cottage was a small two bedroom lakeside location, and that's all we needed. It was very clean and everything we needed was there! We also had the option to rent a pontoon boat from the owner and that make a world of difference. This was just the vacation we needed. So much wildlife, great fishing, friendly people.

Beautiful lakefront property!

There are multiple different fire pits around the property. Lots of pier space. The lake in front of the property has a nice, sandy bottom. Location is just a 15 minute walk/5 minute drive into town. Perfect little cabin for a family of 4-5 people!

Wonderful, peaceful. Has everything you need and more.

Just for a 3 day weekend or for an entire week my family and I love this place. Quiet and peaceful. Beautiful scenery, Bald Eagles, Deer, and in the fall the most colorful trees. Cozy and comfortable. Everything you need is right there. Close to nature and civilization. Great restaurants and shops within minutes. Like a home away from home.

I take care of all aspects of the cabin including detailed cleaning and do improvements on the cabin every year. I work in education so I spend the summer in Minocqua to dedicate my time to my rentals.

Why they chose this property

I love this cabin and hope to be able to stay there myself one day. With the exception of the walls, nearly the entire interior has been upated.. The property has built new docks and dressed up the landscaping.

What makes this property unique

The unique benefits include a gorgeous lake view and access to all of the lakes on the Minocqua chain, and private but not isolated. The cabin is walking distance to town via the Bearskin hiking and biking trail of over 30 miles. The property also has fire pits for camp fires and picnic tables for meals outside.
