Bring your boat & launch right from your cabin where you can experience the adventures of our local Canals & Lakes. Enjoy our complementary kayaks and fishing poles. Relax & have a bonfire by the water. Take your boat or car to nearby Historic Mt. Dora, Beautiful Eustis or bike to nearby Tavares Sea Plane City. Sleeps 4-5. Fenced yard. Trailer parking. Private kayak launch-Full kitchen. Pets Welcome, just ask!

Shed in someone’s backyard

The property was cute and fairly clean, but the listing is very inaccurate. The unit is quite literally a converted shed in someone’s backyard, and is not 3 bedrooms. This was not disclosed in the listing, or in the photos. We arrived to find a camera inside the property, but did unplug it. We had no hot water for showers, and were there for a basketball tournament, so that was unfortunate. The owner said they could send someone after checkout to fix it. The location on the canal was nice, but due to no water and the lack of privacy and comfort ability being in someone’s backyard, we would not return or recommend to others.

Let me first start by saying this is NOT a shed, it is a cabin, and it is on a huge lot totally separate from other structures and directly on the canal. It does not state anywhere that it is 3 bedrooms, and the pictures clearly show that. Ratings say everything and every other rating I have had has been 5 stars (including other platforms) and I pride myself on that. I wish you would have reached out to me before very late the evening before your departure with any issues. I would have offered a refund or had the shower looked at. I offered to come over and help you when you contacted me the evening before your departure with shower and you refused. I did go in after you left and the shower worked with hot water, the European design is not like American and that is why I wanted to show you. The camera is security camera and was in plain sight and not activated, my cleaning person forgot to unplug, and as I explained to you, I am truly sorry about that, but as you are aware it was not on and in plain view as you entered the door. Unfortunately, I was unaware you had 5 guests since you only listed only 2 on your reservation so I am sorry about your tournament. I love hosting and I really wished you would have reached out to me sooner so I could have tried to make you happy in any way possible.
