The Space: Meet Marina: a hand-laid mosaic Mermaid who lives at the bottom of the pool. She is based on the main character of the 1975 anime adaptation of The Little Mermaid by Hans Christian Andersen (not the Disney version).
Marina was graceful, brave, and heartbreakingly selfless. Captivated by her sacrifice, it was only fitting that she carry the same quiet magic. Marina is the soul of the space, a symbol of beauty, transformation, and the stories we carry with us.
