This home was everything we needed and more! It was spacious, clean and a beautiful location! There was a leak in the ceiling and the owners were very responsive and fixed it right away. Definitely recommend this stay.
Spacious, orderly interior, lovely setting, great amenities: kayaks, fire pit, creek feeds into Chop tank, close to Saint Michaels and Secretary.Big bedrooms with new comfy beds, plenty of bathrooms and showers.Just a lovely place and excellent communication from host.
Our families visit to the Eastern Shore was in memory of my son. This was his happy place. We chose the Cabin life house. It was perfect for our families brief stay. The hot tub was a hit as well as the water view in the back yard. We especially enjoyed watching the wild life.
On this trip, it was only my borfriend and I but this waterfront home in Cambridge is a perfect place to spend time with family and friends with plenty of comfortable sleeping accommodations and several spaces to congregate and visit both inside and outside the house, The home is clean, private, and in a quiet neighborhood. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay on Maryland’s gorgeous Eastern Shore.
Large house with in law suite and 2nd entrance. Clean, rustic cabin feel. Plenty of room to stretch out. Game room and bar area is nice with big tv. Hot tub fairly new. Weather didnt permit using kayaks, but they are there for use on creek to river. Anyone who would pay for 3 or 4 rooms at the resort next door is crazy. Great place for a family get together. Bathrooms all updated. Plenty of stuff you need in bath and kitchen. Laundry room even had pods and dryer sheets.
We arrived late evening, put our kids to bed and had family over the following day to visit. It would have been a great reunion if my Grandparents and I didn’t end up sick because of the mold we later found in the downstairs area of the home. Luckily we found it in time, making 25% of the home off limits to us and our family (one of the main gathering areas, with the only TV in the house). After trying to contact VRBO and the host, neither are willing to rectify the issue or give a partial refund for the inconvenience! Beware!
Please if you have autoimmune issues or health issues, stay away! They also had the nerve to complain about minor stains on throw pillows that the cleaner was able to remove and a sitting chair that seemed to need replacing before we got there. If I’d have know that they were going to knit pick our stay then I would never have booked this house and will not be booking through VRBO again either. Also, if you don’t like being on camera, this is definitely not the rental home for you!

This guest had no issues or complaints with our home, never tried to contact us during their stay, and even expressed how great of a time they had the morning that they were checking out, then our cleaning company came in after them and found so many of our things damaged from stains etc. Multiple pillows, rugs, towels. I contacted VRBO to ask them how to handle, and VRBO decided to contact the guest. The guest reached out asking for pictures of the damages which were then sent, of course that's when we start hearing about all these issues that they had. The "mold" (which was not mold) was tested and was not at all dangerous but was immediately addressed. The guest never discussed anything about refunds with us. The guest just decided that leaving a negative review was the best route for them. We only have 2 exterior cameras which are clearly mentioned on the listing for security purposes. They are not monitored regularly and do not invade our guests' privacy. It's clear from our other reviews on this listing and our others that this was just a guest who didn't want to take responsibility for their actions and felt that this was the best way to handle that.
