We enjoyed our stay. This is a classic New Orleans style home. There was plenty of room for everyone. The bathrooms were beautiful. The location is great for whatever part of town someone would like to see.
We wanted to stay in a New Orleans style home. This is exactly what we expected. Close to everything we needed and the parking was easy as well.

The property is fine. The host is helpful and communicative when you reach out for the most part. This is the first time there hasn't been instructions for anything either in a physical binder, or online so that was harder to deal with. No wifi instructions, but they gave us it when we reached out and asked. I've stayed in a TON Airbnb of vrbo rentals and the things that were "wrong" seem VERY easy to fix. The single plastic shower curtain isn't long enough so the water floods the floor. The front yard has a broken birdbath and is overgrown and there's trash. There's an Ironing board, but no iron so I couldn't get my clothes ready for the conference I was in town for. The day bed on the porch has a terrible smell of BO/sweat. No laundry soap at all for the washer. Broken slats on all the blinds, dirt smedges on the power strips. I bet 500 bucks and a few hours would make this place SO much better. The biggest issue that I'm not sure they can fix is there are MULTIPLE wild roosters and chickens cawing at almost all hours of the day and night. Not great sleep. It was safe, the linens and pillows etc were very clean and white inside the home with only a few exceptions, the appliances all functioned well. I hope they can figure it out because it could be something great! I'm only leaving this because I hope they do.
Slept me and my friends very comfortably! Owner was nice and good communication. Only thing was we had to wash the sheets before sleeping on them because they weren’t properly washed but besides that everything was great.
Genesis was super helpful and responsive during my trip. The home was beautiful and a great location to really experience the community of the city. We were close to the bus stop and walking distance from some great local food spots and bars.
The host was courteous and responsive, maintaining clear communication throughout the stay. However, there were a few areas that could be improved. The Wi-Fi information was not clearly provided, and we needed to request the password after experiencing connectivity issues. The location was convenient and easy to find, which was a positive aspect. That said, parking was limited—once you move your vehicle, it can be difficult to find a spot upon returning. The home itself was pleasant overall; however, the floors were not as clean as expected, and we felt the need to wear socks or shoes at all times for comfort.
Great location and nice place but smaller than expected
Overall it was a good stay. The place was nice and the management was great. We originally booked for a group of 15 but wound up only having 10. If we had all 15 come it wouldn’t have been enough places to sleep, it was full with 10.
Great communication from host, property and floors should ’ve/could’ve been cleaner. 3 full baths was convenient for travelers. Stairs sketchy after beers lol
We had an amazing weekend at our VRBO. Prime location and close to most everything. Riding the trolley was a bonus!! Just a short walk, a few blocks down to canal and we rode the trolley everywhere. We walked the neighborhood at night from Canal and felt completely safe. Beautiful location! The upper patio was the icong in the cake. We loved sitting outside and enjoying an adult beverage ❤️ Thanks for hosting a great weekend 🎃👻

Lodging Experience in New Orleans
Our stay at this Big Balcony was ok. The neighborhood was aesthetics was the best. With 5 guest the rooms wasn’t really private. The upstairs room layout looks like you’re staying in a closet. The stairs between upstairs and downstairs are pretty steep and not built for heavy foot traffic. In the one room there’s piece of pile wood covering the window. Honestly had we read the reviews we probably would’ve been more prepared or opted another unit. Overall we were able to manage with the lodging. The property manager was very helpful.
This place was so cute. The balcony and patio areas were prefect for sitting outside in the evenings. The lack of a communal seating area was a little odd, but it worked fine for us as we weren't there much anyway, and we have a bunch of teens. So, we just gave them them the entire upstairs area, which made them happy. The host was very responsive with any questions we had. The place was clean. The beds (at least downstairs) were soooo comfy. The kitchen didn't have much to cook with, but we made it work. Again, we weren't there much anyway. It's on a busy street so parking was a little tricky at times, but it was nice to be so close to everything. We would definitely recommend this host/place to our friends.

I would give 2 stars but Genesis and Scott are pleasant people and made a midnight run to our unit with towels. I added a star for this service.INFLEXIBLE Management: within an hour of making my reservation I requested a change to shorten stay by one day. No response from the management. Kept reservation, but that should have been my first clue that this property might not offer the best customer service. Added Fees: I spent more than 325 extra per night OVER advertised price!! Loud Roosters: Wild roosters roam the property. They crow non-stop throughout the night and day. Disrupted sleep. Broken Dryer, no offer of recompense for inconvenience: After two days at a stormy Jazz fest our clothes, including jeans, sweatshirts and jackets, were soaked and muddy. Called management about the dryer and then had to deal with repair calls. Dryer was never repaired. No offer to recompense for time inconvenience or laundry fees. Treacherous Stairway: the stairs in this unit are the craziest steepest stairs I have ever seen and they are right by the front door. Dangerous. There is no indoor comfortable living area: Two daybeds are considered beds/ Neither of which are comfortable as beds for people over 5ft 5 nor comfortable to sit on as couches for daytime use.Kitchen is small. It’s fine, but not worth the price we paid. Thin walls: could hear neighbors partying/talking until 5 am sometimes. This situation convinced us to stay at a hotel next time.
Pros:
The manager is very communicative. Any issue we had Genesis was willing to fix it immediately.
The beds are very comfortable!
The AC works great!
The noise level was low.
Cons:
There aren’t really any spaces for you to sit down. There’s not a living room with couches and chairs so it was somewhat awkward when my family wanted to hang out together.
The people before us had broken out a window. They didn’t report it and the curtain was covering it and we didn’t understand how so many mosquitoes and bugs were getting into the home.
The front door lock sticks and you have to push really hard on the door to open and close.
The steps are VERY steep!!
Overall, the owner does a GREAT job communicating. The window wasn’t their fault and they did the best they could to remedy the situation. Parking was easy and many times we found spots right in front or on the side of the home. I think if the owner added couches and chairs to the upstairs area it would’ve made it more comfortable.
