Perfect space for a big group of friends celebrating some 60th birthday milestones! Everything was as expected. Loved all of the amenities and that view from the deck is perfect!
A group of retired coworkers enjoyed great laughs, great food and conversation at this comfortable log lodge. We each had a private bedroom and plenty of space for ourselves as well as group space to reconnect. The host was responsive to prearrival inquiries and was very friendly and helpful. The accomodations were clean and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable.
We had a great stay! Grandview does not disappoint. There are 28 steps from the house to the dock so it's important visitors can do steps. There are many things to do, both inside and out. And there's plenty of space to spread out if you like that. Beautiful sunsets from the lakeside deck!
We loved the place with spacious main rooms, high ceilings, and plenty of beds for everyone! In particular the hot tub and just sitting on the porch while watching the lake was a pleasure, we would return!

We scheduled this getaway for my husband's birthday. During the 6 weeks between reserving it and staying there; we unexpectedly lost my mom, then a month later my dad. Our stay at the lodge was exactly what we needed
We had a big group and had a blast. Everything was perfect. The deck over looking the lake is stunning!

The cabin was indeed grand and we had all we needed and more.
My family of 21 stayed at the grand cabin for 3 nights just before Christmas. We enjoyed our stay and loved the decor and rich history in the antiques and design of the place. It was spacious and well equipped with kitchen supplies and the bathrooms were also plentiful and stocked. The view from the lakeside was gorgeous. We did indeed enjoy our stay.

Thank youtaking great care of the lodge and for entrusting your getaway with us.....We hope you will return.
My husband, dog and I enjoyed a relaxing getaway at Grandview Lodge. We spent time playing games, cozy next to the fireplace, and relaxing in the hot tub and sauna. It was a great refresh and truly memorable experience. The house was perfect. Well equipped, clean, gorgeous and maintained. We highly recommend!
A few highlights from our week long stay with our family of 16 included: gorgeous central staircase; grand elevated deck overlooking the peaceful lake; the spacious upstairs kitchen with plenty of pantry, counter, fridge and freezer space; plentiful space for lounging, playing games, and accessing outdoors; the two kitchens for the multiple families; the upstairs game room that offered a fun change of pace from outdoor activities; the paddle boards and swimming space; the relaxing hot tub, and enough bedrooms for everyone.
Wonderful! So many kitchen gadgets and storage. AWESOME water/lake. Had some activity but not too busy. We went jet skiing and tubing and had a few boys cruises. Lots of fun on the provided water trampoline. It was a kid favorite. Lots of beds for our 24 people. Plenty of hot water for showering everyone too. E toilet handle broke but they sent someone out right away who fixed it without disruption of our time. Can’t say enough good things!
This is a very beautiful cabin, well stocked and nicely decorated. Even firewood. Had plenty of hangout areas, we never felt like we were on top of each other. The game room was secluded to not interrupt others playing games or watching tv on main level. We

A beautiful home.....we were sad to leave.
We had 20 adults ranging in age from 22 to 62, a 2-year old and a 7-month old. The house was never crowded and there was something for everyone to do. Everyone had a great time. We are already talking about booking for next year!

So glad you enjoyed your selves we sure hope to see you next year.
This was the perfect house for our group of 12 adults, siblings, spouses and our 97-yr-old father. The house was very clean and well stocked. We especially enjoyed the quiet beauty of the lake, lounging in the hot tub, cooking meals in the well equipped kitchen and playing games at the large kitchen table. Plenty of room for everyone and lots to do. We hope to come back with our kids and their spouses.
This cabin is beautiful, roomy and well appointed.
Lots of stairs to crystal clear water.
Would highly recommend renting a pontoon from private marinas that have access to the lake. Made arrangements with owner, but no boat there, and received only partial refund.

Great for large family, something for everyone.
Rented this home for a large family fall get together. The home is beautiful, clean and well maintained. The kitchens are very well stocked, brought my own rolling pin, but didn't even need to bring that. We enjoyed the hot tub on the deck and the canoe, kayaks and paddle boat were in almost continuous use. The location of the game room made it perfect for the kids to be playing games and making noise while the adults were in the family room overlooking the lake, and could visit without shouting over their noise.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are so glad you had a wonderful stay, the Grandview Log Lodge is truly a special property. We certainly hope to host you and your family again in the future..
Group of 10 including 3 adults, 5 young adults and 2 older adults - very nice stay. Standouts for this property that might not be apparent in the listing include: VERY clear lake with nice sandy bottom and few weeds (even in August), swimming excellent and water pretty warm. Hot tub great, right outside main living area and easy for my 82-year-old parents to get in and enjoy the view and company. Property manager very responsive in resolving an issue we had. Lots of activity on the lake with people skiing, tubing etc. but only from 10-4 and more on the weekends than weekdays. Kind of a social environment with many houses vs. a more remote northwoods setting. We enjoyed.

Great Family Camp
For the last 3 years Grandview was our destination for our annual "Family Camp". We are 9 adults and 6 children and the house fit us perfectly. We cook all our meals and the 2 kitchens were well equipped and large enough for use to all participate in the food prep. The house has always been immaculately clean and everything working. When we had a problem, the answer was only an email away. They fixed our problem within hours. Very impressive. Misty and Bonnie are wonderful to work with. Truly a gem!!

Fantastic Property!
If you are looking for a place for a large group to be in one place, but still have your own space when needed, this is the place. Had a total of 23 people here for a weekend to celebrate my 65th birthday. 14 children ranging from 15 years down to 1 year and 9 adults. When children needed naps, the load group was kept on the main floor or out side. Worked out perfect.
The house is very well maintained and so much stuff was provided. I travel a lot and stay at hotels as well as B&B's. This place beat them all.
Reservation was easy and when I had a few questions while there, I got someone on the phone right away.
You'll Love it I promise.

Thank you for the kid remarks, we greatly enjoy hosting family groups like yours and so appreciate your care of the property.
This beautiful log cabin was perfect for our large group (family of origin and family of choice) to celebrate a 60th birthday!
Because we rented in March, we were not able to take advantage of the lake and all that it offered, but we did enjoy the view! And the hot tub!!!
The kitchen was well-stocked with every item we needed to make all the meals. Having 2 kitchen areas was helpful. We used one for meal prep and one as a bar. Multiple coffee makers allowed everyone to have hot coffee at the same time in the morning.
The intercom system was a fun surprise! We played Reveille over it to call everyone to breakfast.
We brought our own games to play. But there are plenty of games in the house (look in front closet)!
This is the second time we have rented from Bonnie and her team. I highly recommend them!
