Family Friendly lake home, beach, level lot, fire pit, game room, dog friendly!

At Bonding Time LLC, we invite you to come enjoy this beautiful new construction home on Curtis Lake in Waushara County. Relaxation at the lake in the middle of peaceful Amish country, and amazing sunsets year round. Great for all ages, as the expansive 2 1/2 acre yard is level and the 130 feet of sandy bottom shoreline is walk-in entry. Imagine laughing and telling stories at the firepit while roasting marshmallows while the kids play on the playset. Sit outside all day in the summer and enjoy this peaceful 35 acre no-wake lake. Everyone will have something to enjoy whether it's fishing, swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, row boat or canoeing.
Indoors there's an area to socialize on each level of the house, including a "theater" area and game room with ping pong table and darts. Air hockey table in the garage does not need coins to operate.
There's plenty of space to spread out over three levels. Upstairs are two bedrooms and a loft TV area with a queen sleeper sofa. Main level has a master bedroom King bed with en suite bathroom and open concept living / dining area, and an additional shared full bathroom. Lower level has an entertainment area, "theater" area, and two Queen bed bedrooms with a shared full bathroom.

Dogs allowed at owner discretion. Please inquire before booking! Apply fee when making your reservation.

The house has outdoor surveillance cameras that are not to be covered or adjusted at any time.

The washer & dryer are mainly for owner use and we provide enough detergent for you to wash & dry the bath towels before check out. If you need to do a couple of loads of personal laundry during your stay that’s okay, but please do not plan for more than that.

** We provide a limited supply of products (3 rolls toilet paper per bathroom and 2 rolls of paper towels per week), Napkins, Kleenex, Saran Wrap, Ziploc baggies, trash bags, foil, shampoo, laundry soap, etc.) but do not replenish during your stay.

The kitchen will be stocked with everything (except food) you need to make and serve a meal for a large group. You shouldn’t need to bring kitchen items from home unless there’s something special you don’t travel without! Ask if you have any questions. There is a second refrigerator in the garage. Plan to bring ice if you want it for drinks or coolers.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lake home with family including small children. The layout was perfect! Each family had their own space to sleep and the living room, dining room and kitchen are open concept and spacious. We had a few minor issues during our stay but the hosts responded immediately and took care of the problem. They were very friendly and responsive. Although we didn’t get to use the outside space very much because of the weather, the backyard and lake access is gorgeous. Highly recommend this property if you’re looking for a peaceful relaxing vacation!

The home is gorgeous! Beds comfy. Kitchen is sooo well stocked to serve anything which what we did which was a Thanksgiving feast. The communication from the hosts was outstanding. Very comfortable house and the holiday decorations and touches were sooo thoughtful and gorgeous. Made us feel like we were home. Decor and furniture are beautiful. So many spots to hang out separately if you want some quiet space or watch different movies or shows. There are three separate tv areas where everyone can do their own thing. Home theater area is perfect. Ping pong and air hockey. Fun lake toys are there though it wasn't the weather to use them. Amazing fire pit area. Great house to relax and enjoy your family. We live nearby in Wautoma, WI on a lake there. Lake life is just amazing and we can't get enough! We moved there full time a few years ago and our two daughters are heavily invested in helping us run the properties we own. We are in the health care field, but love having vacation rentals as a side "job" (if you can even call it that)! It is heart-warming for us to watch families and friends gather together at our homes to bond with one another and make lasting memories.

Why they chose this property

This Curtis Lake property is simply beautiful! We enjoy the new construction and homey decor. It is amazing to find a property over 2 acres worth on a lake! We are blessed. The back yard is flat and level, perfect for people of all ages. The outdoor living space is quiet and roomy, and connects via a path to the awesome firepit. A few steps further and you're at the playset and the beachy area. We cannot forget to mention the amazing sunsets you'll enjoy.
This house is in a very convenient location. Minutes away you can get food & beverage, Amish bakery, an A&W float or meal, or jump on the interstate for a short drive to Devil's Lake, the WI Dells, or head to Stevens Point. Wautoma is super close too! This is a great central WI location for people coming together from Chicago, Madison, Milwaukee, MN, and IA. You won't want to go back home ... trust us!

What makes this property unique

This home is in a great central location, an hour or less drive from Madison, Oshkosh, and Stevens Point. A quick 5-10 minute drive gets you on the interstate, to A&W for a root beer float, or a gas station trip. Make sure you stop by the Amish Bakery just a couple of minutes down the road. Only 15 minutes to Wautoma, offering excellent golf courses, Silvercryst supper club, Moose Inn supper club, Milty Wilty drive in, and two grocery stores! An added bonus is that the Ice Age Trail is only about 5 minutes from the house! Once you're here you'll never want to leave, and you'll already be planning your return.
Take the roads slowly, as you'll like encounter an Amish horse and buggy or two!
