Amazing Location and Layout

My group and I loved our stay in the Anna unit! It is very spacious and perfectly accommodated my party. We particularly loved the large bathroom and closet on the 3rd floor, and the direct access to the game room/ common area!

Great place!!!

The house is like a three minute walk to the beach which is awesome for early morning or evening walks. The house overall is very nice and clean. The communication with property manager is better than expected and they are lovely people. Definitely recommend staying here!

Very clean!Kitchen is beautiful!Mattresses on King Beds are very soft…you’ll roll to the center. Update those and you have 5 stars!

Amazing!!

Super amazing place! We stayed for 4 days and had an amazing time. The location was perfect for easy beach access and they had an outdoor shower to clean off before coming inside. One thing I will say is that it was less clean than expected, but it was things that couldnt be helped like some sand in the couches but it wasn’t a big deal at all! I recommend to anyone who’s traveling in a bigger group and need a big space!! So much room it was great

Booking & check-in went well. Communication with the owner was effective. Lots of room in this property. In our opinion it is better suited to two couples plus kids. Two master suites are served by ensuite full baths, Bunks on the third floor are served by a bathroom on the second and shower on the first. Lots of up & down stairs in the morning & evening.

Odd layout

A bit of a strange stay - it’s basically a motel with one big suite that has the most odd floorplan. This includes the living room having a massive set of glass doors to the common area. Also the posting appears to be a full beach house - it’s not. It also was not clean at all. I would say try to find something else at this price point. Still can be a nice stay but not highly recommended.

ANNA Family of 5 that stayed in Buxton for one night because my daughter wanted to go Ocracoke to go looking for shells. Unfortunately there was only one location available that would accommodate 5 people and this booking several months in advance. We booked this because it looked renovated, clean and spacious enough for our family. Upon arrival, we were surprised that this a part of a larger property that is split into multiple rental properties. So if you want your own place, don’t go here. Upon entry, we were greeted with musty, moldy smell. The first room we checked was the first bathroom and noticed mold on the baseboard and floor (see photo). We continued checking the property and it was dirty, sand and dirt on the floor, bathrooms not properly cleaned and just its overall cleaniness to be in poor condition. I messaged VRBO which put me in contact with two people I believe, the host and property manager. I made them aware of the condition and I was offered to have someone come back to clean the property. I advised them that my wife had already taken upon herself to clean up. I asked VRBO if anything can be done on the clean up fee and they said it was up to the host. I spoke again to the host and no refund was offered. Was said that the fee is for a third party company and not even a refund to be offered. I find this appalling that a host would even allow a property to be available to be rented with visible mold. Though host was responsive, matter was not fixed
