Why Jeff Lewis chose Dare County
The close access to the beach and the view from the upper deck sold us! It is truly a wonderful family retreat and also is great for fishermen, birdwatchers, surfers, kite surfers, and beach babies in the fall!

Nice property, close to beach, could be a bear to park multiple vehicles during the busier months.
Very clean and nice house for a pet friendly house. We had other pet friendly homes before, but were not nearly as clean and everything worked. I would definitely recommend and stay here again. Thank You.
Thanks so much for the nice review. We are glad you had a fun time and would like to invite you back!

Spacious, Nice views, Everything we Needed
We enjoyed our stay at Sailfish immensely. This house is homey, spacious and pet friendly. Thanks to Betty for her help and patience when we made our reservation she really made it stress free. It is a small walk to the beach which my mother had a little trouble with but was fine for us and young kids. Bonus was the ice cream stand at the end of the road, also a short walk.
It was a nice cottage; not fancy but very comfortable. Very clean. There is a long walk over the dunes to get to the beach; it's not as close as the pictures make it appear. But the view from the deck is good.
