Escape to "Swimming on the Edge," a spectacular 6-suite luxury cabin for 20 in the Smoky Mountains. This Folly & Forge retreat offers breathtaking sunrise AND sunset views. Unwind with a private indoor pool, hot tub, game room, and home theater. Perfect for large families and groups seeking a memorable mountain getaway with top-tier amenities and stunning vistas.

This magnificent 5,100 sq. ft. cabin offers three levels of luxury, fun, and views that will take your breath away.

Main Level:
- Features a cozy living room with a fireplace and a stunning wall of windows framing the mountain landscape.
- Open-concept space includes a large dining area with seating for 12, plus 5 more at the kitchen island.
- A fully stocked chef's kitchen has everything you need to prepare delicious meals.
- Two large king master suites, each with a private bathroom.
- Easy access with only a single small step to enter, ideal for guests with mobility concerns.

Middle Level:
- Four additional bedroom suites, each with its own private bathroom.
- Three suites offer comfortable king beds.

Gorgeous views of the mountains from all three back decks and all the big windows from the back of the house. Our family enjoyed the in door pool. Having a separate access code for the pool room door gave me peace of mind with our child.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was perfect for our large family vacation. The kids really enjoyed the game and movie room and of course the pool. The adults loved the beautiful view and comfortable beds. The location is convenient to everything you need, shopping, grocery , entertainment etc. Sean was a great host. He responded quickly to all questions and communication was excellent. We would definitely book again in the future.

Great cabin. Very clean and plenty of space. Everyone could be together or have some private space. Loved there were no steps to enter main floor and having two bedrooms in main floor for those who don’t want to deal with a lot of stairs. Parking could fit 4 vehicles comfortably. Communication was excellent throughout the stay.

I needed a place with 6 bedrooms. Additionally, I wanted a pool. This property scored on both accounts. If I ever want to go to Gatlinburg again, I’d certainly stay at this property again. Other pluses….. no bugs, great views, clean and tidy, fun video games, a theater room. This place had it all.

The property needs a thorough check up and cleaning. The outdoor grill is missing the handle needed to open the lid, the hot tub cover and control panel were broken, the dishwasher needed repair while we were there, the cookware was soiled and scratched, a bathroom drain was clogged. The host sent new cookware and hot pads to manage the grill lid, the dishwasher was repaired within 24 hours. The house was big enough for all of us and the layout was great. On the other hand, I’ve never stayed in a place where so many repairs were needed.

We had an amazing stay at this property and couldn’t have asked for a better experience for our large group. The house was spacious, beautifully maintained, and had every amenity we needed. The views were absolutely stunning and made the whole trip feel extra special.The pool was a huge highlight—our kids had an incredible time and didn’t want to get out! Everything was set up perfectly for both relaxation and fun.The host was outstanding—extremely responsive and attentive. When we had a minor issue with a clogged sink, they immediately sent a handyman who fixed it right away.Overall, a fantastic stay. We would absolutely come back and highly recommend it to others!

Awesome!!

We stayed here for spring break with another family and loved it! Nice spacious rooms each with their own bathroom, the game room was a lot of fun for the kids, the theater room was awesome for March Madness, and the private pool was fantastic!! Reached out to the host with a couple questions, and he responded very quickly and was very helpful. Would definitely stay here again!!

This was a great house for a variation of ages. Each bedroom is Very roomy, the bottom floor is where the pool, game room, hot tub, laundry room and movie theater are. The kitchen is huge, with lots of cabinets, and the kitchen is well stocked with items. There is much privacy for each bedroom. The owner has great communication, and the house was clean. Plenty of towels, toiletries (shampoo, body wash, etc) It’s close enough to the Pigeon Forge strip, but far enough from the traffic.

We loved this house and the owners. The house was perfect for our 3 generation family of 14.The pool, theater room, and game room were a winner for the youngest members of the family. The private bedrooms with king beds and ensuite baths were a winner for the adults. We gathered on the main floor/kitchen greatroom, and porches for great family time. Beautiful views. Close enough to eveything Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg but far enough away from the crowds.Clean and well stocked. Owners were helpful and very responsive. We would go back!

Cherished Family Memories

We had an amazing stay at Swimming on the Edge cabin! This cabin was very spacious for our large group from a range of toddlers to adults. The bedrooms were very spacious and each of them having their own bathroom provided so much privacy to not have to share bathroom space with others when it was time to get ready to go out and enjoy the nearby attractions and restaurants. From arrival, everything was absolutely perfect! The cabin was one of the cleanest we have ever stayed in! The mountain views are absolutely breathtaking! The kitchen space is massive, and our large group was able to all spend time prepping food together when it was time to cook. The kids enjoyed the pool so much we spent hours in the pool and game area. After the kids were finally exhausted from the pool, they were able to wind down in the theater and watch a movie before bed while the adults could enjoy a game of pool and the outdoor hot tub. What really made our stay stand out was the attention to detail the owners put into making sure we had everything we needed. From the fully stocked kitchen to the extra towels, blankets, and super comfortable beds... it was clear that they wanted us to feel at home, and with the cabin being so close to the nearby attractions, we were able to explore the area without having to drive too far. We are from Roanoke, VA. We enjoy traveling with our five children aged 20 to 4. We’ve been visiting the Smokies since before we were married and count it as one of our “Happy Places”.

We started Folly & Forge Vacations as a way to share our love of traveling as a family with other groups from around the world. We love playing a small part in the memories our guests make in our vacation homes.

There are several cabins with similar amenities to ours, but the attention we paid to the design and layout makes Swimming on the Edge quite unique.

We have prioritized our guests’ comfort, and created a feeling of comfortable luxury, instead of forcing extra beds into every corner of the cabin.

You’ll find places to gather as a group, but also places to get a way and find quiet to enjoy the magnificent surroundings and views that make this cabin so special.
