The mantra for once you walk inside Meadow Pines is "Stylish Design with Comfort in Mind!" The Great Room’s vaulted ceilings, skylights, solid wood flooring, and magnificent stacked-stone fireplace invite you to settle in with a sense of richness. Our award-winning designer has selected all of the furnishings—including in the bedrooms, bathrooms, and screened 3-season porch—to reflect an appealing, yet cozy aesthetic.

The fully equipped open galley kitchen is highlighted by top-of-the-line appliances, including a Bosch dishwasher, and cherrywood cabinets. Do we say "ooh-la-la"? Yep, we do! When you and your guests want to gather for a formal meal, there’s a sweet dining table out in the 3-season porch area where you can enjoy whatever marvelous meal gets prepared. Guests love the stained-glass window decor and artisan craftsmanship that’s on obvious display throughout the cottage, reminiscent of the work of Frank Lloyd Wright. Uh-huh, we think you’ll be tickled, too.

Featuring top-quality bedding and linens, plus hand-selected accessories and décor, you and your guests will sleep soundly and enjoy sweet dreams in either of the two richly appointed bedrooms. Each has ample closet and storage space, too. One bedroom also has sliding glass door access to the sun deck.

The Meadow Pines’ bathroom is all-new with a metro-out-in-the-country sense of styling. The chic shower-bath is highlighted by a marble-with-beach-pebbles floor. All your essentials are provided for, as well. Plus, there’s a primo stackable washer-dryer combo to handle all your laundry needs.

When you want some outdoor relaxation time, we’ve got you covered. The sun deck has a sweet dinette set with an umbrella for shade, plus way-nice chaise lounges for some reclining R-and-R whenever the mood strikes. The gas grill out there is perfect for cooking up your favorite barbecue dishes. As evening rolls around, sit yourself down in one of the classy Adirondack chairs with a favorite beverage in hand, and chat with your friends or count shining stars to your heart’s content! If you like, there are beach supplies and bikes for you to ride, too. Speaking of beach stuff, once you get back from the beach and want to rinse off, there’s a cool outdoor shower!

Besides being just a stone’s throw from a majestic Lake Michigan beach, you’re also a 10-minute drive away from enjoying the many activities afforded by the region’s largest recreational harbor in New Buffalo, all sorts of woodland, lake, and riverside parks with hiking and biking trails galore, nearby Oselka Park (which has baseball fields, playground equipment, and tennis courts), or the many popular restaurants, galleries, and boutique shops of downtown New Buffalo—all just a hop, skip, and a jump from Michiana Shores. In Michigan City, just 5 miles away, you and your guests will find a wide range of options for eating, drinking, vacation activities, and places to explore. One last treat to check out is within walking distance—Stop 50 Wood Fired Pizzeria, which cooks up some of the best pizza you’ll ever eat, as well as all sorts of other Italian goodies! By the way, we should also mention that Meadow Pines is pet-friendly; just be sure to let us know in advance if you’re bringing a four-legged friend.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
To ensure a safe and compliant stay, all guests are required to complete identity verification prior to check-in. A valid government-issued photo ID will be collected and verified, and the name on the ID must match the credit card used for payment. When applicable, a background screening may also be required as part of the booking process.

All guests are required to review and sign Juniper Holiday + Home's Guest Occupancy Agreement prior to check-in. While we understand that events can affect your trip, it is our policy to stick to the agreed-upon cancellation policy in the listing. We recommend purchasing vacation travel insurance if you suspect you may need to cancel your reservation.

The minimum age to rent this home is 25.

A non-refundable Accidental Damage Waiver is included with your reservation. This waiver covers accidental damage or loss to the rental property caused by you or members of your party up to a maximum of $2,000. This plan does not cover intentional acts, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.

There is a Ring doorbell at the front door.

For guests that would like to bring pets we agree that pets are part of the family, and we welcome up to 2 dogs here. All pets must be authorized at time of booking - email us immediately for pet approval if you plan to bring a pet.

Out of respect for our staff and their families, we do not permit check-ins or outs on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Thank you for your understanding.
