Welcome to this Cape Cod Bungalow set back on a .54 A on a waterfront lot! This cottage is located on a slough perfect for pontoons & Cruisers! Ramp for your boat with a dock equipped with water & electricity.

This beautiful 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom bungalow is the perfect home away from home.

Bedroom 4: 1 Full + twin with a 1 trundle

Make yourself at home with all of the comforts of home! Enjoy a night in cooking in the fully outfitted kitchen, or gather around the table for takeout. Enjoy a relaxing evening on the deck watching the sun set with the beautiful lake views. Play a game of pool or shuffleboard in the game room garage. Stream your favorite shows or movies from the Smart TVs. Spend your days enjoying the lake by kayaking, paddle boating, or hanging out on the dock. This home is the perfect place for a relaxing Lake getaway!


Pet friendly with a $100 pet fee. We ask that pets not be allowed on furniture and that you clean up after your pet.
Please note - Trash needs to be taken to the curb on Monday and brought back up on Tuesdays. *Guests will be charged $100 trash fee if this is not done*

lazy days at the lake!

I booked this cottage as a surprise trip for my husband's Birthday and we had the best time celebrating with our family! There was enough space for us all to eat our meals together and sleep comfortably. We tied our boat up to the dock and took it out daily for fishing trips. We enjoyed the pool table, hot tub and hours out on the dock fishing. This was the perfect place for our little getaway!

Great time at the lake

The house was wonderful and accommodating for our two large families to come together. Our kids span a wide age range, and everyone was easily entertained by all of the games and lake activities. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend!

3 weeks in January/February

This home is spacious, clean and quiet. All amenities were there as listed. The kitchen had some basic items. We really enjoyed the bird feeder. We refilled it a few times. So many birds!

Daughter/Cousin Surprise visit

My nieces, cousins & their kids traveled from Texas to SC to surprise my daughter, son in law & precious granddaughters. We needed room & activities so that we could hang at the house, enjoy the visit & still keep the kids happy & this foot the bill! John was quick to help w/any special needs/issues, would definitely stay here again but hope I dont have to becuase I want my babies home!

Amazing Christmas on Lake Marion!

Sweet Marion is a great house located right on a private channel off Lake Marion. Very secluded and quiet setting with dock access right in the back yard. The home was very well setup with 3 King sized beds and another bunk bed and two additional singles. Plenty of sleeping access for a large family. Home is also outfitted with games and all the kitchen items you may need. Thanks for a great home for our family Christmas vacation! Highly recommend this home.

Beds Super Comfortable - but some House Repairs Needed

Charming place, good location, loved the dock and the house was pretty cool, but some things definitely need repair (broken toilet seat, broken door to shower - both the owner said he’ll need to fix), and some other more minor things I didn’t report to the owner - broken/soft boards around hot tub and one on the dock, no propane for grill (we just paid to have it refilled), the previous renters didn’t clean grill - very dirty. With a little TLC and maintenance, we would stay here again because it was spacious and comfortable and had most everything we needed.

Double Booked!!!

Watch this host they will double book you and screw you out of your stay! We were using this rental as a meet up point for family to celebrate a late Christmas most coming from more than three hours away and we ended up going back home. If you book here I’d check several times that it wasn’t double booked else you may be turned back!

Lake getaway

We loved being right on the lake and the pedal boat was a pleasant surprise. It was a family favorite and used many times during our stay. The house was clean, but we did spot some cockroaches, including one in the downstairs king bed when we were getting in at the end of the night. The house was equipped with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, dishwasher detergent and laundry detergent. The propane grill did not have much propane, so we ended up filling that. We were pleasantly surprised with a brand new hot tub which was also a family favorite. It was hard to get in and out of for adults and children, as there were no steps to stand on, and the sides were high, but we made it work.The air conditioning should definitely be assessed, as the upstairs bedrooms were extremely hot during the day and night. The first floor was nice and cool though. Definitely some repairs that need to be made to the home, but overall an enjoyable experience.

Gorgeous location and property. The kitchen lacked some of the items needed to cook or utensils were broken. The electronics on the oven were in frazzle mode which made it hard to determine settings or timers. However the rest of the house was perfect and clean for the stay! Thank you.

It was perfect for our quick chartered fishing trip… from chilling on the patio, enjoying the fire pit. Fishing from the dock. Enjoyed the hot tub. We had a competitive group so the shuffle board was a fun addition. Enjoyed our stay. Kitchen was perfect for cooking in. It’s out in the country…but was perfect for our plans!
