Welcome to Writer’s Cove, a top-floor 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath condo offering breathtaking ocean views and an ideal location just a block from Freeman Park and the Carolina Beach Fishing Pier. With its open floor plan, this retreat is perfect for unwinding after a sun-soaked day at the beach. The spacious living room features a sectional sofa, Smart TV, and direct access to a private deck where you can soak in the coastal breeze.

The fully equipped kitchen includes modern appliances, a flat-top stove, a Keurig and drip coffee maker, and ample seating with a dining table for four and bar seating for three. Whether you're cooking a family meal or enjoying takeout from a local seafood spot, this space has everything you need.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We loved the area and how close we were to the beach. We cooked and the kitchen had everything you need. Could Could use largerthat sleeps 6. I

The overall experience was a good one. There are a lot of stairs to climb so be aware. There was no direct access to the beach which is no fault of the condo. The condo itself was topnotch. 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. All the kitchen essentials were provided. Great views of the ocean from the deck.

Great for our group

We were celebrating the 19th birthday of my granddaughter, and our group included her 2 brothers, her best friend, and for part of the time, her mom. The location was great, just a short walk to the beach. Although it is on the 2nd row, there was no house between us and the ocean, so we spent lots of time on the deck watching the waves. It was nice to have 2 parking spaces. If you plan to eat in a lot, you may want to bring any special pots or pans you'd need, although we easily made do with the provided ones. If you don't want to climb stairs to the 2nd floor, this may not be for you. But all in all, we enjoyed the casual laidback vibe of Carolina Beach and this home.

I would not recommend this rental. We had the following problems and upon arrival I sent a message through the vrbo app about an issue and no response. - Dirty dishes in cabinet - Kitchen drawers and cabinets dirty with crumbs - Couches and carpets dirty with a lot of stains - No hand soap for bathrooms and kitchen - Kitchen Chair was already broke when we arrived - No hot water in kitchen - Bed bar broke under metal bunk bed upon arrival

Location was great. It was quiet. Kitchen had necessities to cook. Spacious. Extra beach equipment was nice to have and had a great view. However, cleanliness needs to be re-examined. Upon arrival furniture (couch and kitchen and bar chairs) were covered with crumbs and sand. The fridge also had sand in the door. We had to vacuum and clean all the sitting surfaces before we could sit. The carpets had many stains through out each room which gave the appearance of uncleanliness as well. The trash can lid had all kinds of gunk and debris around it. Other than the vacuum there were no cleaning materials such as: brooms, Lysol spray. The vrbo listing needs to be updated on how to park and how to enter the condo. Had we not started opening doors we would not have known how to get to our unit. Storage door does not shut, we had to slide the table to keep door closed. I hate leaving negative comments however, we should not have to clean upon arrival when there are cleaning fees we are being charged.

Condo was just as described. Beautiful view. Beds comfy. Shower hot. Finding the front door was challenging as all 4 condos share one stairwell. Kitchen was well equipped though the forks were tiny. A great overall stay
