This 2 bedroom 1 bathroom cottage has one double bed in each bedroom and one full bath. There is a full kitchen with microwave, stove, full size refrigerator, coffee pot, toaster and everything you need to cook except for the food. The living room has a full size sleeper sofa that can sleep up to 2 additional people. The cottage is approximately 650 sq ft.

This cottage is located just 2.5 miles east of Munising on M-28. It is close to all area attractions. It is part of the Alger Falls Motel so there is someone on site from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. if you need additional housekeeping items of any kind or area information.

Overall the cabin was wonderfull except for the beds. They were only full size and could have been more comfortable. But the overall experience and stay was wonderful!!!

This property was perfect for our stay for a week! It was a few minutes (2-5 mins maybe) into Munising & if you go to the right out on M-28 - you have mini golf, Dollar Store, and a Circle K gas station. You can also take Conners Rd as a short cut up to Pictured Rocks! We went back and forth many times, due to the distance; was not really out of the way. Kitchen had the items we needed for meals. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Yes, you may hear a lot of traffic as M-28 is a very busy road! Was not an issue for us. Would stay again and would recommend! Pictures are true to what the cottage and Algar Falls Motel looks like.

Very clean cabin

This cabin was great for our family. It was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed for meal prep. The location is close to many hikes, kayaking, boat tour and Munising.

Proceed with caution. This is part of a motel complex, just off the main road/biway. Research fully before booking. Main essentials are covered for a family of 5 it was a stretch and we were itching to leave. The good:Availability- We booked a few weeks before our trip at end of August, our needs were met for sleep and a full kitchen. Location: It was nice being out of town but close enough to run in/out to sight see, eat and shop. The grounds were good for little kids to ride their bikes back/forth the gravel parking lot. The bad:- Cleanliness: The pullout couch mattress was very thin/worn and had glitter and dirt on it. There was a pill and chips along the floor in one bedroom. Plates were wet in cabinets.- Minimal amenities: There were only 3 spoons, which made meals a bit of a challenge. The pullout couch had no comforter (when we asked, they said they didnt have any). We needed to request pillows. There was 1 roll of toilet paper, when we asked for more we were given 1. For a family of 5, it made it annoying but also felt like we were being treated with the bare minimum versus like welcomed guests. There was no paper towels and not enough dish soap. I confirmed about the location of the Washer/dryer a week prior to our trip, told there were 2 in “the complex” but washer was broken and being repaired. During our stay, it was still not working and told to use a local laundromat.Overall we made it work, but we had higher expectations based on the ad and price.

Nice little two bedroom cabin. Had everything you needed inside and was very clean. Not far from anything that was needed. Would recommend.

The cabin was very clean and equipped with all the necessities a person would want! The location is great because it is near many places to visit. The manager was very nice and helpful!

great space close to everything yet tucked away

We only stayed one night, but it was a great place to stay. The lady who checked us in was friendly. The cottage was roomy for our party of 3 plus dog. We didn't cook but it was nice to have kitchen facilities, plates, and silverware for heating up left-overs for breakfast before hitting the road. We would stay again if in the area.

Nice cabin for a getaway

Clean simple cabin for a getaway. Good medium/firm beds, hot water and heat. Bring your own coffee though! Plenty of pots and pans to cook with.

Great location, quiet, kitchen utensils and cookware were plentiful. Perfect amount of space for 2 adults and 18month old.

Nice clean place. Beds are small full size only even though sign says queen size beds. Beds were comfy just small for 2 people. Right on the highway (M-28) and semi clutch breaking at 3 AM was a little rough. Deck was very small. Would have been nice to have our own grill and fire pit. Water was good and a good shower.

Thank you for leaving a review. This is the smaller of our 2 cabins and there is only room for a double bed in each (as listed in the description). The second cabin is larger and has 2 queen beds in each room. We have a fire pit in front of the cabins which is available to everyone at the property. You stayed during the busiest time of the year, but usually the traffic slows way down at night.

Family trip to Pictured Rocks

Quiet, cozy cottage life. Was just outside of the downtown area which was perfect for a quiet evening after hiking and the beach. Beds were comfortable full size and comfortable. Cottage was clean with plenty of supplies, including towels. Check-in and check-out was easy. Front desk was very informative and nice. Our family really enjoyed our stay. Thank you

The beds are very firm if you prefer that they are nice mattresses. Unfortunately this is not just near a busy road, it faces the road. If you are looking for a natural setting, this is only the case when you look at the cabin. If you sit on the small porch, the only outdoor space, you’re watching a main road and other businesses. Appliances and fixtures are older and in various states of disrepair but usable. Bring your own paper towels. The staff is very nice. Convenient access to town.
