host interaction… I texted the host thru the VRBO app several times upon our arrival, received a notice that my text was received but no communication to resolve the issue. I texted again very early Sunday morning. I finally got a phone call to resolve the first arrival issue 30 minutes prior to our departure.

Thank you for sharing this feedback, and I’m sorry for the lack of timely communication. Receiving a “message received” notice without a follow-up, especially right after arrival, is unacceptable and not the level of service we aim to provide. Your messages should have been acknowledged quickly with clear next steps, and the fact that you didn’t receive a call until 30 minutes before departure is a serious miss. We’re reviewing what happened with our communication process inside the VRBO app so this does not repeat, including response-time expectations and escalation steps when an issue is reported at check-in.
