I visited Palm Springs for the first time in 2008 and fell in love with the scenery, pace and hospitality. When looking to buy a property in this desert paradise, I visited many different complexes. I knew the minute I stepped into Canyon Shores, this was the place for me. In addition the to beautiful grounds, the complex is remarkably quiet.

What makes this condo unique

I always try to re-Invest in my property through upgrades and renovations. I believe a property needs to continually evolve to remain attractive to the renter. There are still a few minor updates to be done ... But all in good time!

Best property I've ever stayed in, no doubt!

This is an amazing condo. Not only was it an easy process to obtain temporarily while our new home was being renovated, it was extremely clean, comfortable, and beautiful. Not to mention the easy communication with the owner. He is a great, sincere-hearted guy, the condo was perfect and our overall experience was simply amazing. I would highly recommend this property.

Visit from Denmark with our girls (aged 15 and 12) in end June/beginning of July and had a superb stay. Everything is like described and Mark is very helpfull and responsive.

We almost had the entire complex to our self - the pool - excercise room ect.

The condo is perfectly placed in the resort and has unbelivebal many things - ALL you need for your stay!! We will definetly recommend this place to everybody who is seeking a quite and relaxing time whith lots of sun.

We travel quite a lot and rent mostly from VBRO/Homeaway - and this place/rental has absolutly been one of the best exprience - Thanks a lot Mark - keep up the very good work of making a great home away from home :-).

Would Stay Here Again in a Heartbeat

I rented this condo for a month in April/May of 2017. Everything was exactly as described. The condo is in a gated community that is very conveniently located. There are multiple pools, and tennis courts just outside the door. There's also a workout room if you're more inclined to indoor exercise.

Everything in the condo is very clean, and bug free. It's really a nice place to return to each evening after exploring the Palm Springs area. Next time I visit Palm Springs I will certainly check if this condo is available. I can't imagine finding a place more convenient or comfortable.

One last note, the owner of the condo is very easy to work with. I definitely give both him and his condo five out of five stars.

Our family of 5 stayed here for 8 literally was home from home.As a family with 3 children of varying ages this is extremely important.Mark,the owner,has thought of everything.From the shampoo dispensers in the bathrooms right down to the condiments in the cupboards.The location and facilities were great too.We had 6 mad days in LA prior to coming so the relaxed atmosphere was just what we needed.We'll miss barbecuing on the balcony watching the sun go down with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc in hand.Would really love to come back some day.Great communication with Mark too,nothing was ever too much trouble.Highly recommend.

Perfect Condo, great owner, highly recommended

We rented for two weeks in mid-July to work remote (from the condo) while house hunting.

Previous reviews are correct when they say it has “everything you need”. For other condos in the past I had to bring spices/ingredients myself or buy them. I was delighted to find everything I needed. The condo had tons of spices/seasonings as well as other food “ingredients” (olive oil, flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, vanilla, etc.) In the refrigerator I found salad dressings, condiments, salsa, even coffee. I do not know if Mark left these there or if past renters left them there but I LOVED the array and abundance. I appreciated it so much that when I ran out of plastic wrap I not only bought some but I also bought plastic bags and foil and added to the collection to help out future renters. There are even reusable shopping bags and a soft side cooler (cold packs in the freezer) for shopping.

The unit is exactly as pictured. It’s on the top floor and very quiet (no one above walking around) and faces south (bedrooms face north). I loved the views of the mountains as I started my work day at the dining room table and the wi-fi was great and NEVER failed me.

We had two bedrooms and two bathrooms so my cousin came to visit for a few days. She loved the condo and the complex so much she decided she wants to buy a unit at Canyon Shores. That’s how nice this place is.

Lastly, some comments about Mark. Whenever I rent from someone the first time I get nervous. I want to reassure any future renters that he is very easy to deal with and very reliable. I was nervous about just depositing a check into his account without the protection of a credit card. My worries were unfounded. Within days (and weeks in advance of my rental) the key card to the gate for the complex arrived in the mail and he included a stamped envelope for me to return it after my stay. A few days before the rental I got an email from Mark with the code for the front door. By the way, not having a key was wonderful. No worries about remembering to take the key with to the pool or getting locked out.

Everything worked out perfectly with Mark. What few questions I had he answered quickly via text or email. A week after we got back he sent me a check with my deposit refund.

Wonderful Condo, Beautiful Grounds

We stayed at Mark's Canyon shores condo for the month of Feb. I knew as soon as I walked in that it was going to be great. The condo is spacious, bright, and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped with every gadget you might need. The grounds are stunning. We loved walking the perimeter of the gated neighborhood every morning, lounging by the pool, bike riding to Palm Springs and sitting on the balcony enjoying a margarita while watching the ducks in the beautiful ponds. There are so many fun things to do in the area that we could not get it all done in a month....have to go back next year!!! Mark was remarkable to work with...we were very last minute on our reservation but he made sure we did not stress about it. His words were "go have fun in the sun" and that what we did!! Thank you Mark...can't wait to go back.
