Come leave the world behind. Enjoy and unwind on this beautiful lakefront property in Northern Michigan. Home to deer, loons, swans, ducks and even an eagle or two. Fish off the dock or venture out on our kayaks and enjoy the Up North beauty on Lake Lewis. Enjoy your morning coffee, strolling along our 40+ ft deck or build yourself an outside campfire, surrounded by birch and pine trees. Cabin is cozy and quaint, decorated with a Northern, “Up at the Lake” theme. Your room is waiting.
The space
Intimate and charming cabin offers 2 bedrooms, featuring Master bedroom with Queen-Size bed, and separate bathroom and shower. 2nd bedroom with full-size bed. Additional 3rd room/den that offers a twin size bed. Fully Equipped Kitchen with modern appliances along with washer and dryer. Living room with lakeside view. Cozy den with twin size bed. Home equipped with Wi-Fi, Smart TV, and DVD player. Downtown Gaylord, 12 miles away, offering skiing, golfing, shopping, dining etc.

Lake Louise getaway

We had a great vacation. The house was clean and was decorated very nice. This gave us time to relax and unwind, much needed. Loved the sound of the loon in the evenings.

Great relaxing get-away

We absolutely loved the house and the location. We both needed to relax and unwind and The Resting Place was perfect for us. We felt very blessed to have the chance to be there for a few days. The house is excellent and well stocked. Sitting on a small quiet lake was so peaceful. We are were close enough to Gaylord or other places to get out when we wanted to but be "away" at the house when we wanted to.

Great Lake view, 150' of shoreline not to close to other homes and the feeling like i'm camping but with the amenities of a nice remodeled cabin.
