About the property

Large 6 bed / 4 bath detached villa at Glenbrook Resort sleeping up to 14 people

Enjoy the modern/contemporary look of our 6 BED 4 BATH home less than 9 miles from the parks at Walt Disney World Resort.

There are 3 king bedrooms, 2 of them en-suites master rooms, 6 twin beds and a sleeper sofa so we can comfortably sleep 14 guests – all bedrooms have their own TV.

For the kids, 2 of the twin bedrooms are themed - currently 'SPIDERMAN' and 'CARS' - and the garage has been converted into a GAMES ROOM with a slate-bed pool table and foosball together with a PlayStation 2.

We are also pleased to offer FREE high speed WIRELESS INTERNET.

Disney, Universal and Seaworld parks are all within easy travelling distance and when you need to recuperate for the next action packed day you can relax in front of the 52' LCD TV or soak up the Florida sunshine by your own SOUTH FACING PRIVATE POOL AND SPA surrounded by mature HIBISCUS shrubs for added privacy. TENNIS AND VOLLEYBALL COURTS are also available at the resort clubhouse.

Why a Holiday Home Instead of a Hotel?

- A luxurious, privately owned, villa provides you with the ideal opportunity to enjoy a home from home in one of the most action packed holiday destinations in the world

- You get more space than a hotel room at a lower cost per person

- Your family or group can live together under one roof with fully equipped kitchen, personal and convenience items

- Your own private pool, spa and relaxation areas

- A local professional managing agent to ensure high standards are maintained and for your assistance in case of need

- A perfectly located property whether you wish to experience the thrills and spills of the theme parks, face the challenge of one of the many golf courses or relax on one of Florida’s stunning beaches

Out & About - Theme Parks!

DISNEY World Parks are about a 15 minutes drive away (dependant on traffic)

A trip to Orlando would not be complete without a visit to Disney to meet Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and their friends. At Magic Kingdom you’ll find Cinderella’s Castle and Animal Kingdom provides one of the premier wildlife parks in the world. The Disney complex also includes Disney's Hollywood Studios, Epcot, Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach – there’s something for everyone and if you love firework displays you'll be in the right place!

UNIVERAL Parks are about a 35 minutes drive away (dependant on traffic)

If you’re looking for thrills, the rides at Islands of Adventure and at Universal Studios will also get the blood pumping. Visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Jurassic Park and the new Skull Island: Reign of Kong and enjoy 3D rides like the Amazing Adventures of Spiderman and Despicable Me Minion Mayhem.

Water is also a major feature at the parks whether you enjoy the slides at Wet ‘n’ Wild or learning about the Florida wildlife at Seaworld – both in Orlando. Busch Gardens in Tampa (about a 90 minute drive) provides some huge adrenaline rushes - SheiKra carries riders up 200 feet stops over a vertical drop before hurtling them 70 mph back toward the ground at a 90-degree angle. Other rides include the Congo River Rapids, Jungle Flyers, Sand Serpent, Falcon's Fury and the new Cobra's Curse.

BEACHES - the coastlines of Florida are simply stunning and there are 2 to choose from!

Gulf of Mexico - 90 miles and about 90-110 minute drive

Saint Petersburg and Clearwater beaches are located on a beautiful peninsula on Florida's West coast and are bordered by the Gulf of Mexico to the west and by Tampa Bay to the east. Miles of white, fine-grained sandy beaches and sparkling waterways consistently ranked among the top beaches in Florida and the nation, Both areas offer activities and attractions for families, couples, and young people alike.

Space Coast – 79 miles and about a 90 minute drive

The area includes Titusville, Melbourne, and Cocoa Beach and is the home of the US space program.

The city of Titusville is home to Kennedy Space Center, which along with the Johnson Space centre in Houston, is the hub of NASA’s space exploration program.

The Space Coast is not just famous for space exploration - Cocoa Beach is well known as a destination for surfing, with the waves of the Atlantic Ocean offering many opportunities for surfers both expert and novice alike to enjoy.

About Rob Thornewell & Steve John

We're Rob and Steve and have been mates since we met at work a few years ago (well, a lot of years ago actually!) and decided to pool our resources and buy a villa at Glenbrook Resort close to Disney, Florida in 2005 and another at Windsor Hills Resort in 2006.

The climate, large properties and vastness of the open spaces of the Sunshine State really appealed to us along with a whole host of attractions in the area including, of course, the major theme parks and golf courses.

There is always something going on and always something to do.

Rob Thornewell & Steve John purchased this villa in 2005

The property was beautiful and very neat. All the whole house was very spacious and nicely decorated

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for three nights at the home. We were in awe as we entered the house for the first time. Everything was so nice, neat, and accessorized. We had more than enough room for all of us. The pool and Jacuzzi were very clean and maintained, even after the major hurricane Irma that affected Florida. The owners were amazingly considerate regarding rescheduling our stay as it was scheduled for the same week Hurricane Irma ravaged through the state. One minor problem was the lack of internet access that was probably due to the impact of the hurricane. I would definitely return for another stay and recommend the property to others.

Owner's Response: Thanks very much for your comments Kelitha - pleased we were able to get you to Florida in the end! As you say, still some impact in the area from Irma but I can confirm that the internet access was back up and running when we were there the week of 16th October. All the best, Rob & Steve

We placed 2nd two times except here

The experience renting from this group was awesome. We had everything set up with our house and ready to rock and that monster 'Cane Irma decided to come a knocking. My car was loaded, hotels being searched out, and the trip was started. The first leg to Chattanooga was great and everything was easy. Then the fun started. Monday morning after a nice stop at Waffle House and a morning chaw, we started on our adventure through Georgia. The storm was givin' her hell in Georgia but we had to keep pressing to get into the Sunshine State. The wind, rain, and powerless cities didn't keep us from getting to where we needed to be. As we were approaching Orlando, I started to panic as most gas stations were either out of power or out of gas. I needed fuel to continue! We luckily found a service station that allowed us to fill up as we only had 40 Miles until E. This is where it gets interesting. Our original house got beat up by the storm all while I'm panicking on VRBO to Rob and Steve. They kept their cool, assessed the situation, and realized we needed a new crib to stay at! I couldn't take the refund because I had 10 other guys counting on me to provide them a nice cool bed to lay their head down on. I pressed on and Rob and Steve came through! They allowed us to stay in their Windsor Hills house which was imaculately clean and a beautiful home. Hopefully the house I'm writing a review about is fixed and operational after Irma and they will be able to rent it out once again. #CaneIrma #SoftballOrDie #DWorlds2017 #Mayhem

Owner's Response: Really pleased we managed to sort everything out for you and the guys so you could complete your trip in very challenging conditions. We now have the power back on and the house is watertight and usable ahead of roof repair works being completed over the next couple of weeks. All the best and I hope we can welcome you back to Glenbrook next time you visit. Rob & Steve

It was very spaces for everybody

  • 5 of 5

My stay at the was a lovely stay not long enough, the pool was very nice and the house was big enough to make every body in my family feel real good, plenty of space for everyone to enjoy themselves in the pool. there was a few mishap, but we manage to over come those little thing that come when you go to places not been your home. But with all that we had a great time in the house and is a lovely house and big, nice plenty of room. And the master room on the first floor was something to enjoy with someone, everything was very nice thank you. Hope to rent from you again. The place is very good for a big family or a family reunion.
