We had the most incredible time! Our hosts were so kind and included us in hanging out with the goats and sharing how the farm runs. The place was so cozy we didnt want to leave. This was one of our all time favorite weekends away. The space is clean and well stocked with anything you need and super comfy beds.
We stayed one night ahead of our families trip to Barre VT and had a great experience. The space was clean, beds comfortable and David and Miken were amazing hosts! Our 7 yr old son had a blast with the goats, ducks and chickens. Before we had even left he was asking to come back again! Thank you for having us and for all of your hospitality, it really cannot be overstated what a great experience we had and mostly due to David and Mikens down to earth personalities and the overall sense of welcomeness you feel while being there. Safe to say we will be back in the future even if the barn is our sole destination! Thank you again and see you again soon!!

The hosts are kind and hospitable. They were so welcoming, flexible, and have truly created a unique experience for goat lovers. The goats were so friendly! The ducks were shy but still fun to see! We’re looking forward to going back during warmer weather but still an overall great experience.
This was our first time staying on a working farm. Our kids had a blast and really loved feeding the goats and ducks, as well as sledding. The bungalow was comfortable and the loft was a favorite for our son, who enjoyed climbing the ladder. The fresh eggs were much appreciated, and the duck eggs were truly delicious. Thanks for a great weekend.
There aren’t enough good things to say about this experience with Dave and Miken. What they have built here is a little slice of heaven, where any animal lover would have an amazing time feeding the goats and ducks no matter the weather! They were very welcoming, kind, and down to earth. I plan to be back with the kids! One of the best stays ever!

Luis, it was an absolute joy to share your wonderful bride’s birthday with you both and we are thrilled you had such a good time. We can’t wait to see you again, with the kids! We expect the first baby goats around St Patrick’s Day then again in mid April and early May! They will also be some more additions to the farm of the spring, we’re sure your animal loving family would really enjoy!!
We had an absolutely wonderful stay! Dave and Miken were warm and gracious hosts. The accommodations were warm and comfortable. And the goats were hands down the best part of the whole experience! We would come back in a heartbeat.
We loved our stay at this unique property. As experienced travelers, we appreciated the work done to convert a portion of the barn into a rental. The owners greeted us, told us all about their beautiful goats and we felt at home. The Chelsea area is remote and beautiful.
Dave and Miken have been so welcoming, we have discovered a real Vermont farm, the kids have just loved it !It is not just a place to stay, it is an experience !

What an incredible visit with such a beautiful family! We loved hearing about roasting marshmallows over the fire and telling scary stories. We know that a trip to the United States is not a small deal, and we are deeply honored that you spent your last couple of days with us. We also appreciate there’s a little girl who misses “her “goat; and we can assure you, he misses her too.
This was a very cozy room, could sleep 4 adults or 2 adults and three kids. Kitchen is good for simple meals, tv and wifi were great and easy to use. It was nice to be able to soak in the tun after our hikes in the area. The hosts were generous with their time and happy to share their knowledge about goats and let us pet, feed, and even milk the goats!
We absolutely loved our stay at Huntress Haven Farm! Miken and Dave are phenomenal open hearted people who not only shared their space, they shared their hearts with us!We miss the them, the goats, ducks and pigs already!

Kimberly, It was a special visit with the three of you as well. We say in our guest book that people come as guests and leave as friends and we mean it; especially so with you all. Hope to see you again soon!!
I felt like I was staying with family. The beds were so comfortable I didn't want to get up. The goats were great hosts;) and the rest of the animals were so fun to be around. There was a lovely fire pit that we used in the evening and our check in and out were extremely easy and stress free!

Pleasant hosts. My daughter milked s goat! Great night’s sleep.
We ended up being much later than we had said amd the hosts were so sweet and responsive about it. They were super sweet, and really just have the neatest property and animals. Hercules is our new favorite goat ever.
Incredible hosts, happy hooves, can’t wait to return!
We had a wonderful time staying with Miken and Dave! The barn is a super cozy spot, the kitchenette has everything you need, and the goats (plus some piglets) were an un-baaa-levable highlight! This farm is beautiful and everything we were hoping for. Thank you for an incredible stay 3

Elena your visit was very special for us as well. We hope to see you both again!
The baby goats and piglets have grown so much since you were here…and the duck eggs are flowing. Spring is going to be gorgeous!
"We had an absolutely unforgettable stay at Huntress Haven farm! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely connected to the farm life and nature. The highlight was definitely feeding the baby goats, And milking the mommas. There is a beautiful brook running right next to the barn where we stayed. Fresh eggs from the ducks and chickens. The property is stunning and the mountains provided peaceful escape and an awesome hike to the top.. Dave & Miken was a wonderful host made us feel like old friends, available for questions but gave us plenty of privacy. Very patient and taught us a lot about the goat farming life, including showing us how to milk a goat at letting us milk every time it was needed to be done. It was my fiancé's birthday trip and Dave & Miken made it very special for her with birthday extras. We already booked again to come back!" P.S. - ask about the home made goats milk soap Miken makes, It is awsome! Katie & Dennis
