Updated & fully stocked kitchen 5*. All amenities were obviously well thought out for the guests comfort. Note that the bedroom and sitting area/Tv are upstairs which could be an issue for some people. The shower is also quite small Overall a wonderful retreat after a long day at the Black Canyon of the Gunnison north rim. Thank you to Jason and all his crew, wonderfully responsive and lovely hosts. It was obviously they sincerely care about their guests. Thank you!

Property was easy to find per directions and very clean. Set up was nice with kitchen downstairs and bedroom and tv area upstairs. Bathroom is on first floor and small but very clean. AC in bedroom area. Market on property was convenient to buy meat for dinner. Pricey but delicious. Owner was nearby to check in and ensure everything was good which was nice. All in all would highly recommend.

Very nice small unit on working ranch. Lots of very thoughtful touches from owners. Cute store on site. Incredible view of west elk mountains. Kitchen is well appointed for cooking with bbq and outside seating. Note that bedroom (bedroom is huge) is upstairs while bathroom is downstairs for those that need to use restroom during the night. North rim of Black Canyon is about 20 min drive. South rim is 90 min drive. We loved staying here.

Ranch Getaway

We didn't spend too much time here as we were out exploring the surrounding areas. Property was easy to find with directions provided, it was clean & well kept. It was fun to wake up to see cattle around. Overall we enjoyed our time and would gladly stay here again.

Such a sweet place to stay up on Fruitland Mesa. My husband loved being able to wake to a view of Needle Rock. It was a great location as a home base going to Crawford, Hotchkiss, & Paonia. The market was so sweet and probably a good thing that I didn’t discover it until we were leaving. Wish I lived closer to get more beef. Thank you!

Amazing!

Quiet country peace combined with all the modern conveniences of home. Beautiful Mountain View’s. Attentive and personable owners nearby. Perfect location for easy day trips to Crested Butte, scenic mountain passes, the Black Canyon (a must see from both north and south rims), Colorado national monument , etc. can’t say enough about this VRBO!

A basecamp for exploring the area in a unique setting on working farm was excellent. Peace and quiet, a visit with the cows, under cover to watch storms roll through, and a comfortable bed to rest. Sturdy handrail on stairs much appreciated. Shower is small but manged. Bonus was to go to the store in the building to buy honey, bacon and steak for grilling. Great place and awesome views of area at sunset.
