Stroll or jog along the secluded beach at your leisure. Relax on beach chairs and watch the small gulf of Florida rollers coming in at sunrise or sunset. Swim or snorkel in the clear, warm waters. Learn how to paddleboard or windsurf with the included gear! Go fishing with the included recreational fishing gear.

Birds soar overhead or nest in the surrounding trees. Dolphins and manatees frolic in both the bay behind the house and in front of you in the Gulf.

You’ll feel as if you’re on your own private island, but if you feel in the need for company you can take the motorboat over to Naples or Marco Island to take in a lunch on the bay or stock up on groceries at Winn Dixie.

KeeIsland has three spacious bedrooms and a sleeping area with additional bunk beds, so there’s plenty of room for up to nine people to enjoy this peaceful island paradise.

About Keewaydin Island

Keewaydin Island is an eight-mile long barrier island off the coast of Naples, with only 13 private homes on the whole island!

There are no roads on the island and no cars. You’ll be in your own private world– but there’s plenty to do if you love swimming, paddle boarding, beachcombing, fishing or lounging on the beach or just taking it easy and enjoying beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

You can also enjoy the beauty of the protected natural preserve of Rockery Bay, which features bays and mangrove forests which completely surrounds your beach house, keeisland. And it is the reason we have an abundance of wildlife and nature surrounding us. Check out the beauty of Rockery Bay at their website:

The oceanfront estate of is surrounded by lush greenery and a great view of the sugar white sand beach and brilliant blue water of the bay. If you’re a bird watcher you’ll be in heaven, and if you love ocean-watching for the chance to see manatees or dolphins, this is the place for you.

KeeIsland House is a brand-new home built to the highest specifications for “green” living that is also luxurious living.

This 3,800 square-foot luxury beach home, fully furnished, is entirely powered by state-of-the-art solar panels. You are completely off-grid here, but rest assured you’ll never notice the difference from on-grid living!

As you wait for dinner, relax and chat with your friends on the completely screened-in outdoor patio. From the patio, you can see the trees and the oceanscape beyond. There’s also a patio off the Master Bedroom which features a soaking tub and outdoor shower.

All of the expansive patio areas have twelve-foot high ceilings and the living room area has plate-glass windows that are practically wall-to-wall. There’s air-conditioning in summer and heating in winter, of course.

The bedrooms come equipped with big-screen TVs. Browse the web on your computer with lightning-like speed thanks to our high-speed satellite internet.

Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. The master bathroom is rather special – there are an outdoor tub and outdoor shower area (don’t worry – there’s no one around but you and your guests!) and spectacular scenery to enjoy while you bathe.

At breakfast, lunch or dinner time the delicious aromas will waft to you from the open kitchen.

All amenities are provided, from luxurious linens for the bedrooms to towels and soaps for the bathrooms.

In the kitchen, the refrigerator, microwave, and oven are top of the line, as are the blender, toaster and coffee maker. There are a washer and dryer in the utility room also.

All silverware and plateware are provided, and you’ll arrive to a pantry stocked with spices and oils and the normal items you have in your kitchen at home.

You’ll also find paddleboats and fishing gear which are easy to use and tons of fun.

How You’ll Get to Keeisland House

There is no bridge from the mainland, so we will take you and your entire party and luggage to KeeIsland House via boat, which is a trip of only 20-40 minutes.

We’ll also be back to pick you up at the end of your stay.

You won’t be marooned, of course. There’s a motorboat at the KeeIsland House dock which is easy to use and maps to take you to the surrounding islands such as Marco Island or into the town and Bay of Naples.

Please Note: The rental rate for the boat is $1,300 for the week and $200 for prepaid fuel. Alternatively, you may arrange a boat taxi service $250

My husband and I stayed at KeeIsland this past March. Staying there was a unique experience. The house is totally off grid, but very comfortable. This experience is not for everyone, but if you are interested in a quiet, total relaxation, white sandy beach experience, this just might interest you.

The owner had recently completed some extensive renovations prior to our visit and was still working out a few kinks. We opted to rent the boat offered with the property, to have access to the mainland. There were issues with the gear box and so we were uncomfortable using the boat unless absolutely necessary. That was disappointing.

The owner and the staff were very helpful and easily accessible. The grocery service offered was very convenient.

Owner's Response: Our guest boat had a blown motor at this time and we were forced to rent from a 3rd party a pontoon boat that was not totally up to our standards and had a problem with the shifter. We do now have our guest boat up and running with a new motor as well as a new marina location in town for departure at the Hyatt on Naples Bay. We have been addressing a few punch list items after a recent $600,000 improvement construction project to the house. And it did take a few weeks for us to work out the many details of making everything as perfect as we can. We strive to make our guest experience as perfect as possible, and sometimes when we are not 100% up to snuff, it pushes us to work harder and we have done that. We thank you for your comments as it is how we find out what we can and should improve.

Natural Beach Wonderland

  • 5 of 5

My Parents (77 + 89) and my two young daughters (2 and 5) and my wife and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at Keeisland.

The electric beach bikes were a major hit! The paddleboards and fishing gear also came in handy for enjoyable activities.

How do you describe a beachfront house that is so beautiful and the weather perfect surrounded by lush nature?

The furniture is new on the patio and with high ceilings and wide views of nature and beach, you will find it to be spectacular.

The boat ride into Marco Island to stock up at Winn Dixie grocery store is a good excuse to get out on the boat and water.

We cant wait to come back again!

Had another beautiful stay on Keewaydin at this lovely home. Brought ice, drinks, some -pre-made meals and clothes. Ate out by boat at the Snook Inn and Tavern on the Bay. Did cocktails one night at the Island Gypsy. Enjoyed the wildlife………tortoise, manatee, dolphins, and shelling. My kids favorite vacation by far.

Exceeded Expectations

  • 5 of 5

We traveled with our 3 kids and 2 of their friends all between 8-15. We also brought our 5lb Havanese dog at the last minute. The house was amazing. The boat was so much fun. Everything you could ever imagine was there from beach gear, Games, Toys, tools, Fishing and More. We woke up every morning and gathered shells after sunrise. We saw dolphins in the channel as well as right in front of our beach everyday. Can't wait to go back and would absolutely refer this to anyone interested whether small or large group.

Naples Family Spring Break Vacation,Tropical Natural Paradise!

  • 5 of 5

We came across this property on Homeaway last year and instantly fell in love. It is even much nicer in person, its hard to describe how beautiful the vegetation and beach and clear blue/green water are.

Shawn and Gretchen were very helpful and the house well stocked.

Make sure you book your stay early as we noticed the prime weeks booked up a year in advance. We learned that this is one of only two beach houses that are right on the water in Naples.

The house itself is luxurious with high speed wi-fi and sattelite tv. Every creature comfort is available and they have thought of everything,. My husband enjoyed the provided fishing equipment and kids loved all the water toys especially the Stand Up Paddleboards.

Spectacular Property!! Perfect for families

  • 5 of 5

My family of 4 (2 adults and kids age 11 and 8) and my best friend's family of 4 (2 adults and kids age 6 and 3) thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our spectacular spring break. The house is out of a movie, very well appointed with everything you need. Between the stand up paddle boarding, boogie boarding and just plain old relaxing this was the best trip ever with the family. The house has beautiful common areas and in extremely good shape. The outdoor shower was unique and lovely. The one criticism is that the beds were extremely soft, hopefully an easy issue to fix. The boat was a very cool mode of transportation and we discovered many neat things in the back channels- porpoises jumping in the wake!! Even though my friend and I are surgeons, learning to dock a boat was as challenging as med school but we are happy to say that with the instructions before and learning from Shawn we did not get lost or hit anything or anyone. I hope to be able to come back to this beautiful property with the kids next year!

Owner's Response: So happy to share this special place with you! This year we intend to replace a couple of the beds, it seems people love the gel foam variety instead of the old school plush pillow tops we have a few of. Personal preference I suppose. We similiarily like to have a variety of different pillow typs for side and back sleepers. Gel and down etc. Obviously the incredible beach and scenery and grounds steal the show and we love how the actual experience always brings such joy to our guests. Every single guest upon departure always has such kind words and that really makes us happy to share!

With several acres to your self directly on the gulf, with a luxury beach home, most of your activities are likely to be centered around beach activities and exploring. The immediate area surrounding the house is referred to as essentially a nature preserve, see: (

So now that we have you out on the island, its the sky, the clouds, the warm air, the wind and rain and wildlife that enthrall your senses. Living in flip flops or bare feet, grounds you to the earth. It's the daily one or two walks along the beach followed by some sea shell harvesting that will fill your soul with salt sea air. If you've got busy bee's with you, set them loose on fishing from the beach, off the pier or on the boat. Paddle board on our two Stand Up paddle boards around the mangrove islands or along the gulf.

Take the boat to Marco island or just south of it and see the ten thousand islands.
