Our lake house is located in incomparable Sandpoint, Idaho. Sandpoint was voted the 'Most beautiful small town in America' in 2011 by USA Today and will blow you away with natural beauty, friendly people, abundant activities and a great food scene! Our lake house is an easy stroll from all the amenities of downtown Sandpoint but still has a private location right on your own sandy beach beside the beautiful waters of Lake Pend Oreille. Does your perfect vacation fantasy sound anything like one of these:

Our lake house vacation home is right on spectacular Lake Pend Oreille. All the water sports, swimming and sandy beach fun you want is right at your doorstep. The house is within easy walking distance to downtown Sandpoint. Feel like a coffee? Many great local coffee shops are an easy 8-10 minute walk. Eating out? Sandpoint is blessed with some diverse, delicious and affordable restaurants that are a few blocks away. Want to grab an ice cream and people watch? City beach is a 10 minute walk. Feel like shopping? The downtown business district which is full of unique shops is a short stroll. Other local attractions include Schweitzer Mountain Resort (20 minute drive), Silverwood amusement park (30 minute drive) and the Sandpoint Marina.

Amazing accomodation for a week at the lake in Sandpoint. Stayed August 2025 (also stayed here 1 year ago in 2024,) for 1 week and the perfect weather didn't hurt. There are not many rental properties available in Sandpoint that are actually on the lake. The home is maintained immaculately, bedrooms are super comfortable, and the master suite is large. We stayed with our teenage/ college 2 kids, but the house is designed to sleep comfortably several more people; the kids room has 3 extra bunk beds, and the secondary has a pul out Murphy bed. Additionally, the property is maximized for entertaining several guests, and the outdoor spacde is not neglected. Hope to return again soon!

This property is amazing! Very comfortable, the back patio and lake view are spectacular and having the boat lift available alleviated any stress we had when the weather was less than optimal for docking our boat. The kitchen is like a small kitchen store--if you can't find what you need, then it probably doesn't exist! Plus--the art! Every wall had something interesting to look at and consider. Some guests mentioned a drawback of the public pier being right next door, but it was never a problem during our stay--the users were respectful that our beach side was private and actually provided some entertainment for us during our stay.

Fabulously remodeled townhome located right on the lake with beautiful views. We enjoyed staying here for our family ski weekend! The location is so close to great restaurants in Sandpoint and was a lovely place to getaway.

Our family of 8 decided to take a weekend away for my husbands birthday. We loved the house which is beautifully decorated and laid out. The saltwater hot tub was a big hit even in the 30 degree weather. Overall, a great rental in a beautiful location.

Amazing location beautiful home

We have stayed here twice and had an amazing experience with owner and house. Super nice and the hot tubs make those colder days awesome great alternative to spending day on the lake. We are an active family, now with grown up children who all love the water, skiing and boarding. Our family time is a top priority and we have found no place we enjoy more than Sandpoint. Come and make some unforgettable memories at our lake house in Sandpoint.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with Sandpoint & the Lake Pend Oreille area when we first drove through in 2006. The lake is one of the most spectacular places we have visited in North America. Sandpoint has an incredible atmosphere year round that changes with the seasons. There are so many great restaurants and downtown is alive with great local live music.
Schweitzer Mountain Resort is an easy 20 minute drive and has some of the best skiing and riding we have found. Schweitzer is a real hidden gem with great amenities. Even on a busy weekend there is lots of room to carve your own route down the mountain and you will never wait long in a lift line.

What makes this property unique

Our professional and family activities really keep us busy and it is such a pleasure to go to Sandpoint, park the car and hardly need to touch it again until we leave. Everything you want to do is right at your doorstep or a pleasant walk away.
One of our favorite outings, and one we try and do every summer, is to take the boat down the lake to Hope or west to Dover Bay Marina and have an unforgettable meal at one of the great lakeside restaurants. The late afternoon boat ride, sunset, dinner and trip back is always a memorable highlight.
Our brand new hot tub is already a favorite and makes for a memorable way to enjoy the lake in both winter and summer.
