The Space:

Step inside and discover bright and airy interiors. The open plan cathedral style living room offers a great space to hangout, connect or relax. The front wall filled with picture windows floods the cabin with natural light and woodland views. The cozy living room and indoor dining table is warmed by a wood-burning stove, ideal for winter nights. Front doors open onto the lovely deck, complete with chairs, dining table and grill to savor the warmer months and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors.



The modern kitchen is fully equipped with a large island with an eat-in bar. The pristine space provides the perfect ambiance for whipping up delicious meals and shared conversations. A large picture window nook is perfect for sipping your morning coffee in quiet reflection.



Three well-appointed bedrooms offer restful retreats. The primary suite features a king bed and two guest bedrooms with queen beds. The two full bathrooms offer a standing shower and a shower and tub combo.



There is also a wellness room with a Peloton bike and an indoor sauna. Perfect for maintaining your fitness routine during your stay, or simply enjoying a rejuvenating spa experience after a long day.



Outside, the furnished deck, lush gardens, and a firepit provide plenty of space to relax and enjoy the serene woodland surroundings, plus a cornhole game for some friendly competition on the deck.

The Neighborhood:

As you approach Darby A-Frame from NYC you will drive over the Hawks Nest Highway (very Cali!) high above the Delaware River and the views are astounding.



While the house is private and tucked away, we are located just 7min from Barryville where you can visit the Barryville General for local supplies, Stickett Inn for a cocktail, the Farmers Market on Saturdays (May-Oct), The Blue Fox for dinner, and Barryville Bottle for liquor/wine. We are also 25min from Narrowsburg - an adorable town perfect for an afternoon out! The Launderette for pizza is our favorite.



If getting out on the river is your thing in summer, there are a ton of options for rafting/tubing and it's so much fun floating down the river on a glorious afternoon. There are some great local hikes too!



Getting Around:

Darby A-Frame is just 2 hours from New York City and you'll definitely want a car to get there and around the area—enjoy the scenic drive through Hawks Nest Highway and easily explore neighboring towns and activities. In the winter, we recommend a car with four-wheel drive that can handle the snow and gravel roads.



While driving is recommended for convenience, you can also take a train from New York to Port Jervis, followed by a 20-minute taxi ride.
