IN all seasons except winter, we require a 3-5 NIGHT MINIMUM, if your stay will include a portion of the WEEKEND. That said, there are always exceptions. We charge a non-refundable $69 accidental damage fee to cover damage up to $1,200. We never anticipate damage and, in 6 years, I've found our guests don’t either.

Tucked into a leafy, tree-lined section of NE Portland, the Alberta Arts District is a vibrant arts and foodie paradise – quintessential Portland and a destination unto itself, and yet also easily accessible to downtown, to the Coast and the Gorge, and to the greater Portland area.

Alberta Arts is one of Portland's premier and most coveted neighborhoods: an established and lively district, 15 minutes to downtown, close to everything, and charmingly eclectic. It’s easy to get around on foot, your own car, shared transportation (including Uber), or public transport (3 major bus lines within 3 blocks of the front door).

This apt is bright, cheerful and hip. The accomodations are very comfortable and clean with lots of personal touches that make you feel like an honored guest. The owner is very helpful and goes the extra mile to be helpful. We can't wait to return! Just wish we could have stayed longer in this relaxing, charming place. The property is within a block of 5 of the best restaurants in NE Portland and a first-rate coffee shop is just a block away,too. A yoga studio and gym with a modest walk-in fee are also within easy walking distance. It's 10 minutes from the Portland airport and on a bus route. All of this..yet the apt is on a quiet residential street. I highly recommend this great property.

everything and more than expected

Clean, perfect location to walk to eat, drink adventure. Host was very very nice and answered all questions, offered lots of great suggestions, included a brochure for stuff to do around town. The house was in perfect condition. We will certainly try to stay here on our next trip back.

Charming with a great location

My family and I spent a fun weekend at this compact and extremely convenient suite. Space was a little limited for a family of five but nearby restaurants, shopping, and yoga kept us busy all day and evening. We had everything we needed and beds were very comfortable. Bella couldn't have been a more gracious host. Thank you again Bella!

Adorable Condo in Alberta Arts NE

This small but beautifully decorated condo has all the amenities a guest could want. It is decorated with many homey touches in a contemporary style. Huge pluses are the king sized bed and air conditioning in a heat wave in Portland. Having just been in a vacation rental that was awful and not from Homeaway, I really appreciated all the special touches our host provided. Everything was well equipped with many amenities. The Alberta section of Portland is up and coming and now the happening place. Even geezers such as ourselves have fun in the many cafes and restaurants in the area. It won't comfortably fit more than 4 people, but definitely a lovely little place to stay.

About Bella Portland

I’ve lived in (and loved) Portland for 22 years. My children and I love exploring greater Portland and especially our own front yard: the creativity and vibrance of Alberta Street – the restaurants and food trucks, galleries, and shops that our neighborhood has to offer. Salt and Straw and Bollywood and Stella Taco are my favorites.

Of course, we love sharing Alberta Streets with other families, too. And, we hope, with you!

Why Bella Portland chose Northeast Portland

Northeast Portland and, specifically, the Alberta Arts District offers the best of the The City of Roses: so many incredible eateries (restaurants, food trucks/ street carts, cafés, breweries, and more!), shops, music venue, yoga,bars, pubs, and other creative outlets, just minutes from our front door.

You can walk to the grocery store and pharmacy. We have EASY access to several public transportation routes and highways to downtown, the coast, and to the Gorge, Wine Country, Hood River, and Multnomah Falls. And Alberta Street is also close to downtown (just ~15 minutes by car) and very convenient to the airport, too. Free Ample Street Parking for your car(s).

To us, this is the best of all worlds in Portland.

What makes this apartment unique

The Gingko GuestHouse is a newer building in a lovely residential neighborhood. And it has everything you need. Over the years, we’ve learned from our guests and gone beyond the basics (fast WiFi, satellite TV, etc.) to slowly add all the bells and whistles – everything from hip furnishings and a washer/dryer, right down to complimentary toiletries and a fully equipped kitchen.
