Located in Bracey VA at Lake Gaston, Live Edge Lodge is a Dream with 3 Levels of Totally Renovated Space to Relax and Unwind filled with Live Edge Furniture! Located on Great Creek the home has a Large Trex Deck overlooking the water, a Gas Grill, Dining Table, and Outdoor Seating.

*****Need more Room for Family & Friends? We have a 2nd house 4 docks to the Left of Live Edge Lodge! Floatin & Boatin 850949 Sleeps 18, 2 Kitchens, 2 Level Dock with Jump Gate and more! *****

Lower Patio: Enjoy a Beverage on the Live Edge Bar over looking the Water, and relax in the Outdoor Seating. Stairs lead down to the Water and Boat House with 6'-7’ foot water depth at end of the Dock. Float, Swim, Fish and enjoy the Water! 4 Kayaks and 2 Paddle Boards are available to explore the Lake. Evenings enjoy the Fire Pit (under construction) for roasting marshmallows and enjoying stories of the days adventures. More Pictures as Renovations and Furnishings are Completed!

The Main level features a spacious Kitchen with all the Dishware you'll need to prepare Meals, Breakfast Bar, Quartz Counters, Tiled Back Splash, Stainless Appliances. The Dining Room featuers an 8' Live Edge Table with seating for 12. Relax in the Family Room with a Gas Fireplace with Stone Hearth, 65" Smart TV w/Sound Bar,and Sliding Doors to the Deck overlooking the Water. The Lakeside Main Level Suite with a King bed features Sliding Doors to Deck, a Spa like Tiled Walk-in Shower with Rain Head & Bench, a Soaking Tub,and Dual Vanity. The Main level also has 2 more bedrooms with King Beds and a Full Bath with Tiled Tub/Shower and Dual Vanity. There is also a 1/2 Bath conveniently located off the Family Room and Laundry Room.

The Upper Level has a Second Family Room to relax in with Couch, 2 Large Bean Bag Chairs, and 50" Smart TV. In addition, there is another Suite with King Bed, Seating Area, and en-suite Bathroom with Tiled Tub/Shower and Dual Vanity. There are also 2 additional Bedrooms on this level with 2 Queen Beds in each room and a Full Bath with Tiled Tub/Shower and Dual Vanity.

The Lower Level has a HUGE Rec Room with plenty of seating, 65" Smart TV with Sound Bar, Pool Table, Live Edge Bar with Live Edge Counters, Foosball Table, 2nd Kitchen with Live Edge Countertops, Stainless Appliances, Open Shelving, and 2nd Dining Table. In addition there is a 7th bedroom with 2 Queen Beds, a Full Bathroom with Tiled Shower/Tub and Dual Vanity and a 2nd Laundry Room.

Amazing Lake House!

Such a beautiful home right on Lake Gaston! The house was so clean and well-organized. Having the kayaks and paddle boards to use freely was a huge perk. The gorgeous deck and fire pit were perfect for our group of friends to hang out around!

Retreat

Wonderful Lake House

My group of 7 had a wonderful time during our stay. The booking and check-in were seamless. We enjoyed the fire pit, fished off the dock, used the kayaks and paddle boat, played pooled, shot darts and cooked in both kitchens. The property was clean, well manicured, spacious and offered so many amenities that we were not able to take advantage of in our short 3 days there. We did have the opportunity to meet a few of the neighbors during our stay and all were friendly, especially the ones directly next door. This was my second time staying on Lake Gaston and I’m looking forward to a third. Edie’s (our host) communication was excellent throughout the entire process and much appreciated. I do recommend this property to anyone who wants a great value and comfortable stay.

Excellent experience

The house is amazing! Plenty of space, all needed amenities are present, the space was spotless, and everything is in great shape. Edie communicated all details quickly and clearly. I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing

We had our annual couples retreat at Live Edge Lodge and it was amazing. Edie, the host, was very involved and ensured we had everything we needed. He responded to questions timely and the home was immaculate. Everyone enjoyed themselves and agreed the house aider in our great time.

Great weekend!

This is a beautiful home and very accommodating for our family. It was way too cold for water sports, but we had everything we needed for a great time! Games, puzzles, foosball, pool, ping-pong, darts, fire pit. What a delightful weekend we had!! We hope to return next year.

Great Lake House

House looks newly renovated, clean and well stocked. Right on the lake. We had no issues here. Great value, we would definitely consider this house when planning future visits to Lake Gaston.

Beautiful Lake House

We enjoyed this roomy, very clean, comfortable lake house. There were lots of activities to do at the house and we had so much fun being there. We played pool, foosball, lounged on the porch, played card games, swam in the lake, sat by the fire pit, and went kayaking. We can’t wait to go back soon.

Perfect Location, Size, and Layout!

We already booked a return trip - doesn't that kind of say it all?!Had a yoga retreat with 13 of us at this house and is the best! The layout is excellent. The house is well appointed. It had everything we needed.Being only a little over an hour away from Raleigh you would think it wouldn't feel like another world away, but it was quiet and serene and everything we could have asked for in a place.Edie is a gracious and very communicative hostess and, though we didn't need anything from her, was at the ready to help if we had. Lots of games and activities to keep busy too. We took the kayaks and a paddleboard out when the weather was nice enough to do so. We wanted to enjoy the fire pit but was the night before we left and just didn't have it in us - we did spend some time relaxing in thr Adirondack chairs down there during the day though.It really is a lovely, well designed, well suited home for a large group with all the conveniences and comfort to boot (even the beds were amazingly comfortable!). As mentioned before, we already have plans to return!

Family Christmas get together

Each year my family and I get together to celebrate Christmas. We picked this property because of the location, size and amenities. This house didn’t disappoint. From the house to the owner connection everything was on point and we are returning for a second year in 2025. If you are looking for a place please consider this property! 5 stars all the way!

Incredible Property - Wonderful Stay

We rent a lot of properties, and Live Edge Lodge was by far the nicest we have ever rented, bar none. The layout of bedrooms and bathrooms gave everyone privacy with a convenient bathroom either ensuite or very close by. Bathrooms were shared by no more than 2 bedrooms. The house is three levels with private bedroom areas on each floor. The bottom level offered lots of entertainment options that were separate enough that you could be loud and have fun without worrying about bothering others. There is space and a place for everyone, whether we wanted to find a quiet spot to read or nap, watch a movie with a group, play board games, or just chill together! The men in the group were especially impressed by the "ice balls" for drinks being dispensed in the downstairs refrigerator. The firepit had just been completed the day we checked in and we were excited to be the first to light a fire in it. Even the wood was provided! There's a beautiful dock on the water with a paddle boat, and kayaks, and life jackets are also provided and required. The owner Edie couldn't have been any more helpful or accommodating and was so great at answering questions or providing suggestions for dining, groceries, or whatever we needed. We couldn't have been any more happy and satisfied with this property. After lamenting that we wish we had had a few more days to stay, we started thinking about when we could possibly return as a group. You can't go wrong with this house!

We’ve vacationed for years at Lake Gaston and absolutely LOVE it there! We purchased our first Vacation Rental in 2016 “Floatin & Boatin” and were lucky enough to purchase “Live Edge Lodge” in 2024. These 2 homes are just 4 docks apart! So large family gatherings can vacation close to each other in 2 homes!

This is a wonderful neighborhood on Great Creek! The local marina is only 1 mile away, Rosemont Winery less than 3 miles away. The 1 1/2 mile length of Great Creek is perfect for water skiing, wake boarding or kayaking & paddle boarding.
