Beautiful rooms and very clean, nice kitchen. We had a great time, easy check in and check out. No problems found. Great view. 5 year old enjoyed the beach and pool. The whole resort is wonderful. Comes with tram passes to all of the amenities. Thank you for a great vacation, we hope to return next year!

Nice place with a view

This was a nice condo. It has a great view which we really enjoyed. The furniture is a little outdated but not to bad. The master shower could have been cleaner but it was fine.

The unit was perfect. However, the elevator was a real problem. Several were broken so getting up and down from the unit was a nightmare during peak times.

My family and I wanted a beach view condo which was convenient for my wife and son to hit the beach. If this is what you are wanting, this is the place! The elevator and stairs are right outside the front door which makes it that much easier to access the beach. Property is very secure with ample covered parking. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

Comfort and convenience with a view

Conveniently located a short walk to the beach and a restaurant. Condo was well stocked and the building felt secure with key pad entry. Only complaint is that the window in the master bedroom was broken and the sliding door in the master did not operate as intended. The view from the balcony was easy to enjoy with plenty of comfortable seating. Looking forward to staying here again in the future.

The condo was great and being on the 3rd floor allowed us to not have to wait for the elevators. My only complaint would be there lack of a workout facility. One of the units - 4291 - was a bit of a nightmare with construction taking place thru much of the day. Since we had weather and unit was occupied by a young family needing naps, the stay was most disruptive. It was so bad my daughter was able to take an audio recording of the noise. Net, you never should have rented this unit while the demolition was taking place so close. Otherwise, the units were as expected.

Great Location and Condo

We’ve stayed on the SanDestin property before at the Luau II and this was a much better experience. The Property was perfect for our family of 4 (13 yo and 9 yo). We really liked having the separation of rooms and the view of the beach was so gorgeous/peaceful. The Condo was as described and although the furnishings/decor were stated as “dated” in previous reviews we read, we felt they were fine and more than adequate. Full kitchen was nice to have, but make sure you bring any seasonings/oils/sprays to cook with as it appears they are completely clearing out the kitchen between guests. The outdoor furniture wasn’t the best (Cheap plastic). Considering the outdoor patio was where the majority of our time was spent when not at the beach, that was probably the biggest disappointment. The beach was beautiful but extremely crowded. If you are wanting to avoid crowds during coronavirus this is NOT the place. You can avoid heavy crowds on the beach by getting out before 10 or going in the early evening. We still had a blast and enjoyed the location and beach. We took advantage of the Xplorie free benefits offered (golf, Baytowne Wharf zipline and parasailing)...that was a nice perk! Overall we had a great trip/experience.

The beds are comfortable, enough linens are supplied and it’s nice to have a few beach chairs and an umbrella. Understand these are not the resort beach chairs and umbrella that are set up for you. Those are not included in the rental. There are lots of restaurants and shops nearby and it is a nice drive into Destin. A few minor issues - the walls are pretty thin so can easily hear your neighbors. And it would have been nice to have a larger chopping knife and a broom. I’m sure if I had contacted the management company they would have supplied a broom, but we didn’t. We came back from the beach a couple of days to find a very strong smell like nail polish remover. Not sure what it was, was not there every day and again, we did not notify management co about it as the smell did not last long. These small issues were not a big deal and overall the condo was fantastic!! We look forward to being able to visit again and would absolutely stay here again!

Sandestin does not take care of property

We arrived during Claudette. No problems. Gibson rentals was very accommodating. But sandestin does not do upkeep of their properties. Unfortunately we would not stay here again. Fourth night staying building lost power completely. And back up generator was broke… uh is this not hurricane country?! U would think they would do maintenance on generators regularly!! So they had to fix the generator and then fix the power issue. 16 HOURS WITHOUT POWEr. Gibson did reimburse us. We lost 150 worth of groceries. Maintenance was to our room 3 times for washer and dryer issues. The shower curtain in the master bathroom kept falling down the towel rack on master bathroom fell down. But the icing on the cake was coming back to our room after a hot day at the water park and our key pad would not work at all!!! Could not get into our room… they finally found a hard key because evidently they only have one maintenance person and that person. Was fixing a broken toilet.. the next morning we had to leave extremely early.. and it was completely dark. Outside our room all safety lights were not working.. so dangerous. The safety gate to leave was permenantly stuck open Anyone could get in. Just not what we expected for what we paid

We enjoyed the location. The beach was clean and it was close to lots of food options. The beach was very crowded. We’ll come in August next time to avoid the crush. Still had a great time and enjoyed the condo.
