Loved the casita - it gives you a real taste of New Mexico. Very cute. I sat every morning by the pond, with my coffee-very relaxing. And as a single, older woman I felt completely safe, The area is very quiet and peaceful. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this sweet, warm casita. It immediately felt like home. Soft bed, scrupulously clean, and every basic comfort you could need. It isn’t really close to anything interesting or walkable, but the upside is that the neighborhood is very quiet and safe.
Very nice stay, very restful. Amy is a great host and if need to stay in Albuquerque again will be my first choice. The coy pond and zero landscape off front veranda was nice. Peet’s coffee for the Keurig coffee maker was a welcome discovery.
Amy’s property is cute, quaint, and simple. It is a perfect space for a couple’s retreat. We thoroughly enjoyed the pond, quiet neighborhood, and comfortable bed.
North Valley Artist Cottage is rustic cozy getaway. Amy is a great host and price was affordable. Its very safe and conveniently loacted near restaurants and interstate. Thank you for your hospitality ❤
Pictures are very accurate in depicting this cottage. It's a moderately rustic little home, but with the conveniences you need. Appreciated the WiFi (worked great) and numerous easy-to-find outlets. There are windows on all sides of the house, so we were able to open windows and get a really nice cross-breeze to cool off in the evenings. A couple minor considerations: Only one side of bed has a nightstand, so one of us had to create a makeshift place for glasses / phone overnight. A hook near the shower to make your towel accessible would be nice. For anyone particularly klutzy or with bad ankles/knees, be aware that there several small step-up / step-down sections on the floor (a bit of a trip hazard, esp for quick midnight trips to water or restroom). We did fine, but imagine this could be trouble for some. Overall, it was a cute little place, far roomier than a hotel. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
