About this property

Blue Wolf Retreat! One Block to Beach! Pool, Pets, and Walk to groceries & more!

Just ONE Block from the beach, your family will be close to everything when you stay at the centrally-located Ocean Walk! We are located steps from beach access and the facility has a HUGE pool! Right in the mix, you will never have to stress about parking and be walkable to the beach, groceries, restaurants, and more!

This two bedroom unit is spacious at nearly 1300sqft! Plenty of space and beds for you, friends, family and pets so that you can have an amazing coastal retreat!!

The Ocean Walk community is a fun place to enjoy and experience Oak Island. While the condominium is in the mix, when you step into the space you get a great since of peace and privacy! This space is huge at nearly 1300sqft!

Entering the unit you will have both the bedrooms on your right and left. The primary bedroom has a large KING bed, TV, and a private en suite with a walk-in shower. Its a great place to steal away from the group for a bit after a long day! The other bedroom is very spacious with enough room for a queen bed and a twin over twin bunk! This room also has an en suite that connects to the hallway. There is also a roll away bed and pack and play on site so that you can mix and match the rooms as you need to fit a large group or more than one family!

As you work your way down the hall, you pass the full bathroom and the laundry that is in unit for your use. This takes you into the OPEN living space where you have the kitchen, peninsula with barstool, high top table, and living room. Its a great place for entertaining the family after a long day on the beach. The kitchen is fully loaded and the bar is a great place to serve up some meals or set up the buffet!

The living room is equipped with great sofas for your nap off the beach or your movie night with the family. The Smart TV has cable and all your streaming needs! While we don't have a formal balcony, the slider in the living room can open up to bring that outdoors in!

On site at Ocean Walk, you not only are close to the beach, you have access to the pool, outdoor dining spaces, and Charcoal grills. Pool is set to open on April 15th and will be open through the second week in November!! Use all the amenities you want or just walk on down to the grocery store and restaurants near by to get a feel for our charming beach town!!

The pet fee covers up to 2 pets! Please make sure your reservation is updated properly. If you are traveling with more than 2 pets, please reach out - sometimes we can accommodate an additional pet on a case-by-case basis for an additional fee. Thanks!

Condo was cute and the perfect size. Excellent location with easy access to the beach. Only negative was the house could have been a little cleaner. It is pet friendly and we were aware but did not expect pet fur “tumbleweeds” on floor.

The unit was fine other than it lacked a porch or anywhere else where we could sit outside. It was cleanband well stocked. It was a quick walk to the beach and to a grocery store. Literally across the street is a fantastic Thai Restaurant.

Perfect size for 3 adults and our little terrier. The kitchen was complete with dishes, utensils, pots and pans, dish soap, hand soap, dishwasher soap, keurig plus coffee pods, paper towels. The bathroom was complete with hand soap, toilet paper, bath towels, body wash. I was glad I brought my own bar of soap for the 2nd bathroom. The closet was full of beach stuff. We only used the beach chairs. And the beach was a short walk. Also I noticed games in the living area. We had a really nice relaxing two-night stay.

Place was very well equiped and exactly as described. All surfaces were clean. As it was end of season it did need a few maintenace things, and the manager appreciated my feedback. The beds were comfy & plenty of outlets available for charging devices. FYI- there is no dining table so we just ate sitting on the sofa (which was comfy). We had some issue with the lock (which had to be fixed) but the property manager was very much "on it" and responsive. It was a last minute trip and were glad to have some beach/family time. Note- it is @3 blocks from the beach but on the block with beach access at the end of the street. The walk to the beach has a sidewalk on the opposite side of the street (which is of note to doggie owners to keep their pups on the side of them as it's narrow).

This is just in the heart of Oak Island! Blue Wolf Retreat is just the perfect little beach cottage. Cozy, accessible, and private. The unit is large, its close to the beach, and has a few extras! Just a fun little spot where you can navigate the beautiful Oak Island and surrounding areas.

What makes this property unique

The thing that really separates this place from others is the walkability. You can literally park your car when you arrive and then walk to anything you need. The beach is one block away and you can walk to restaurants, shopping, Publix or Food Lion. Just really nice to not have to fight crowds and enjoy your little slice of paradise on OKI!
