We had an excellent stay in this very nice bedroom apartment. Nice amount of daylight and very comfortable heating/air conditioning. The kitchen seemed well equipped, though we have family in the area so did not eat in the apartment except for light breakfasts, snacks, and beverages. The location was wonderful for us, but would also be great for tourists and other D.C. travelers. It's a lovely neighborhood with so many restaurants and other services. There is a nice park nearby and there is easy access to Metro and buses! Cindy went above and beyond as a host! We will stay here again!!!
The space is lovely and Cindy is a consummate host. She was very respectful of my privacy, but we connected due to an unexpected major storm that we had to plan around. She was very accommodating and we had lovely conversations. 10/10 would recommend; Cindy is so wonderful and the space and surrounding neighborhood are beautiful! Also, it's an easy walk to many great neighborhoods and attractions. I'm definitely going to come back next time I'm in D.C.
I can honestly say that, of all the short term rentals I have ever stayed in, I have never had a host as excellent as Cintia. This place was perfect and in a beautiful and convenient location/neighborhood. But most of all, Cintia went above and beyond again and again to make the stay comfortable and convenient. Do yourself a favor and stay here!
This garden level apartment is in a charming, quiet neighborhood within walking distance to the shops and restaurants of Woodley Park and Adams Morgan and across the street from Rock Creek Park. Easy metro access. Cute little garden apartment with full windows in the main room and plenty of privacy. Perfect retreat for exploring the city!
Cindi was wonderful as a hostess. Her back apartment opens up to a well manicured patio with a spiral staircase and a lovely arrangement of boxwoods and greenery. The apartment was furnished with everything a renter could need. The kitchen was especially well stocked with coffees and teas and all needed appliances. Cindi was an excellent communicator and helpful with all needs! 5 star!!
My husband and I stayed in this lovely one bedroom apartment for 3 nights, while we visited our son who lives nearby. Location could not have been better! Neighborhood was charming, with beautiful gardens, lovely well maintained homes, sidewalks, and access to the park right across the street.A lovely brick walkway leads to the apartment which is tucked away with a side entrance and a view of the beautiful enclosed patio and garden. We were welcomed with a vase of happy yellow tulips! The apartment was clean, quiet, charming, and cozy. We had everything we needed, including comfortable linens, terrific towels, and a tiny kitchen. This lovely property was a gem! We hope to stay again in the future. Many thanks to our host, Cintia! We had a perfect visit…
We had a great stay! The apartment is a bit removed from the main tourist attractions, but getting around was easy with scooters and bikes. The neighborhood has a very local feel—people actually live here, which gave it a more authentic vibe. In the evenings and on weekends, everyone heads to the park at the end of the street to enjoy picnics, drinks, and time with family and friends. One pleasant surprise was how well-equipped the kitchen was—much better than most rentals we've stayed in. It had everything we needed to cook comfortably, which we really appreciated. The bed was a bit small—it’s a full size, not a queen as we had expected, and that wasn’t mentioned in the listing. Also, storing our luggage at the property on the last day wasn’t really an option, which forced us to adjust our plans. That said, the apartment itself was cosy, had good air conditioning, and was within a 5–10 minute walk of plenty of shops and restaurants
