I booked this place 2 months out and when it came time to check in the owners did not have the place ready and were not aware the booking was made. They did not answer as I was calling them and eventually I had to give up

Ok home and property. Convenient location for our planned activities. Several things would have made our stay much more pleasant (we were a party of 5). We arrived to 2 large black bags of previous folks' trash at the front door (not a good first impression). No top sheets on the beds - had to look around for them and found in dresser drawers. Just a couple of clean towels (dirty towels in a heap on the floor). No hand towels or paper towels in the kitchen, dirty dishes in the dishwasher. No large trash bag in kitchen trash bin or anywhere in house. No laundry detergent.Messaged host regarding all these items and response was slow. Received requested items late on second day of our 3 day stay.NOTE: This is not a home for people with balance issues and/or elderly folks. One bedroom and main bathroom and kitchen, living area are all upstairs. There is a step up into the kitchen that we kept tripping on. Downstairs there are steps up into the bathroom and one bedroom - had to be careful or we would trip.Also, no way to lock the upstairs sliding glass door to the deck. We placed the barstools to block the door from opening, so we would feel safer.Will be staying somewhere else the next time we visit Roy.

Listing NOT accurate: Only 3 queen beds, 3 single beds, no futon couches, no king bed. It sleeps 10 tops with glasses, plates and cookware for 8 . The listing photo shows trees by the house, reality: there is a view of a car/shop garage with 100 junk cars. The fire pit is not usable, no wood anyway. The house was dirty when we arrived, food was on the kitchen floor and we had to mop up the sticky stuff that was near the bar stools. There were no kitchen towels or hand towels for the bathrooms. There were not enough towels in the bathroom and they did not smell fresh and were thrown in the cabinets. The shower does not work well, just a trickle of scalding hot water with the broken/wonky handle. Not all pillows had cases and there was only a bottom sheet, blanket OR comforter. No top sheet. Beds were not neatly made. Only 2 dishwasher tabs provided. There are bee hives along the back eves of the home. It takes 20 minutes for the toilets to refill. There is an exposed fan/heat unit that a child could touch and get hurt. Finally this is not a level floor plan, with a 3" step up into the upstairs kitchen and a 6" step up into the downstairs bedrooms and a 10" step up into the downstairs bathroom. We had to get a hotel for people we had planed on staying here with because even the young folks tripped on the kitchen step and coming out of the bedrooms and if an elderly person fell we would be at the hospital with a broken hip. Host does not respond timely manner. Bad AC
