- Enjoy fishing, swimming, or tubing in the river
- Gather in the spacious living area and cozy up by the fire
- WiFi for streaming movies and remote work
- Drive 35 mins into Berkeley Springs for amazing restaurants & shopping

The Space:
This traditional log cabin sits on a large piece of land overlooking the Potomac River with plenty of trees and privacy. Plenty of room for the kids to run, family gatherings or a weekend away with friends. Enjoy the large, multi-level deck for grilling, relaxing with a good book, or path going right down to the river. In the evenings, you’ll enjoy roasting s’mores by the fire pit. Whether you're casting a line, exploring nearby trails, or simply soaking in the views from the deck, our cabin promises a delightful escape where the river is always just a step away.

The cabin includes:
- 2 bedrooms Bedroom 1 (open loft) - king bed, Bedroom 2 - queen bed
- 1 full bath on the main level
- Fully equipped kitchen with stove/oven, microwave, and refrigerator
- Large seating area perfect for gathering and preparing your favorite recipes
- Cozy wood fireplace to stay warm on chilly nights
- Multi-level decks for lounging in the fresh air
- WiFi strong enough for streaming movies and taking video calls

Outside, you’ll also find:
- Grill and gather on the large deck
- Direct river access from the property (5 or 10 min walk)
- Spacious yard for outdoor games and family fun
- Roast s’mores in the fire pit
- Enjoy fishing, swimming or tubing in the river
- From time to time, bald eagle sightings—they are known to nest on this crest overlooking the river

Beyond the cabin itself, we love how close we are to Berkeley Springs, a 35 minute drive from the cabin and is great for so many reasons. The town of Berkeley Springs has been voted one of the top arts communities in the US, with dozens of shops and restaurants, and even a brewery and winery! Don’t forget to mark your calendars for the annual Paw Paw festival that happens every September.

Please note: Getting here may have you driving over sections of gravel road, and we recommend you bring food and groceries with you since it is a 45-minute drive to the nearest grocery store, the Berkeley Springs Food Lion.

True mountain cabin experience

What a wonderful cabin - it feels private and remote on a large property with a nice big yard and a view of the river, but not too hard to get to. It had everything we needed for a nice weekend but still has a rustic cabin feel. Hope to return next year for another weekend getaway

Riverfront cabin

The location of the cabin and the views were both great. Upon arrival we did notice that both the front and back doors were not locked and the property was left open. The property has great privacy but we were disappointed when a grass cutting company showed up to mow the lawn mid afternoon. Checkout is at 10am and check-in is at 4pm so I just feel like those types of things should be done when the property is empty. Also a heads up to future guests…you may want to bring some towels with you. The bathroom only had 2 and they were very very small. It is a very nice property and we had a great time…just a few small details that could have made it more enjoyable.

Cozy with a beautiful view

Cute place with nice decor. Beautiful view of the mountains and PawPaw from the back porch. Great starting point for a lot of fun drives on the Md and WV back roads; especially loved the view from Banner Outlook not too far away in MD (fun drive to get there too, but don't go with a low-profile car or a fear of switchbacks and gravel :-)) - but we did not do as much driving as we planned because it was so nice to just sit on the back porch instead :)That being said, go into Berkeley Springs for a little bit at least to visit Mischief, a cute little store you'll spend too much time in.The porch lizards were also very entertaining. You'll hear (texts) a lot from a Tony, pretty sure it's a bot.

House in a good spot and as there were 5 adults, we had lots of space. Kitchen lacked saucepans/other utensils to cook a meal for 5 but we managed. The microwave was dirty and had to clean before we could use it. Lots of fridge and freezer space. Unfortunately the house was not that clean when we arrived. Including us finding a filled, squashed dog poo bag that was in the garden and had not beenput in the bin. One of the reasons for booking was so my son and girlfriend could have some private space. The Annexe was so damp she had an asthma attack in the night and had to come upstairs to the bunk room so she wasn't that comfortable. It smells badly of damp at the bottom of the stairs and corridor to the kitchen. The TV in the lounge is too small for 5 people to crowd around to watch and as the weather was bad (nothing can be done about that) it wasn't practical for the party. Some furnishings were badly stained. The garage light was on most of the night and with no curtains in the Annexe bedroom, we went out to B&M to buy a dark, lightweight blanket that we could hang at the window. The beach is literally just round the corner and my dogs love it (have previously stayed 3 times at a house down the street) which was good because they won't put a foot in Astro-turf. Garden is very small. The house is surrounded by several other properties, first house on the left as you enter the road hosted a party until gone 2.00am not youngsters.lots of drunken cackling.

I live in DC with my wife and three young kids. I love camping/hiking, drinking (and sometimes brewing) great beer and wine, exploring new restaurants and shops, and traveling all over.

What makes this property unique

We spent years searching for the perfect getaway, and wanted to be close enough to DC that we could do a day trip. We fell in love with the area – and Washington Riverbend in particular. We love how cute and cozy our cabin is, and all the fun outdoor activities we can enjoy year-round. :)
