This is a truly great place. The loft is larger than expected. Location is ideal. It has everything you might need to have a great time in the Camden area. It is clean, well kept and quiet. Lee and Kim really make us feel welcome.
I would strongly recommend this place to friends and family.

We had an excellent stay on Jacob's Avenue. Everything was fresh and clean and there was excellent communications from the owners. It is a very walkable location into a wonderful town along the coast. Just be aware that there is no elevator and you must use the steps to the loft. The hosts shared an extensive list of restaurants and spots not to be missed. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
Well-thought out garage studio apartment in a pretty backyard. Up the hill from downtown Camden but an easy walk to shops, restaurants and the harbor. Bright and very well-cared for. Perfect for a single or a couple. Hosts are friendly and available if needed.

A great spot and great hosts
It's an efficiency apartment, small-ish, but thoughfully designed to make best use of the available space and present it attractively, so it actually lives very nicely - no problems at all. Lee & Kim were kind hosts and shared lots of helpful information about what to see and do in the area. The location is quite walkable to the downtown, which can be nice whether it's to stretch the legs, see the neighborhood more or just avoid the parking hunt downtown. All in all I enjoyed my stay very much there and would be glad to return.
This is a very well situated apartment in a very cute and quiet neighborhood. It was very clean and the host was very fiendly and usefull.
Although, the available amenities need a revision. There is no air conditioning, no beach towels and no stereo in this apartment. Other than that, it is perfect for a couple and very comfortable.

Hello Genevieve,
Thank you for taking the time to provide a review of your stay. The professional cleaning people were most appreciative of your gift. I am sorry i didnt realize that you would have wanted a air conditioner. We haven't had any request this summer for the air conditioner and thus we have not placed it in the window. I will be more diligent in the future by asking guest if they would like us to place the air conditioner in the loft. We do have beach towels and chairs available for guest. In the future we will need to do a better job of letting our guest know what amenities are available.
We hope you and your friends will return as guest of the loft.
All the best,
Lee
My partner & I stayed here for the most relaxing, cozy week of vacation! The efficiency flat itself is perfect for a couple - just enough room for the two of us to spend dedicated time together. The kitchenette is outfitted just right for cooking quick meals and tea/coffee in the morning, the bathroom is gorgeous and very spacious, and the bed/living area is quite comfortable and gets stunning light. The lot is a relatively short walk to the main town square as well as beaches and hiking locations which was super convenient. Lee, the owner, went above and beyond - in addition to providing a ton of local recommendations, he loaned us personal bicycles to make our trip even more lovely. There is also a semi-private balcony where we spent a lot of time reading and listening to the birds under the cover of shade from the giant trees surrounding.
If you’re looking for a peaceful, simple get away to the woods with the ease of being near a bustling little town - this is it for you! Wonderful stay!
A fantastic place to visit and an amazing place to stay!
The owners Lee and Kim were very accommodating. They gave us great suggestions on where to eat, what to do in the area and even hidden gems around Camden to see. The bicycles they provided were in good shape and easy to adjust for a comfortable ride. We’ll definitely be coming back to enjoy Maine again, and where better to stay then a place that feels like home away from home?
The apartment was comfy. Had everything and in a great location! I could walk easily to Camden and with a few more steps Rockport. Loved staying with you, it made my 2 weeks stay class with Maine Media even more fun! Thanks so much

Perfect!
This was the perfect home away from home for us. We had a great time exploring Camden, hiking, kayaking and enjoying the harbor. It was wonderful to have this very comfortable, private, adorable loft to return to. The location is great as it sits in a lovely Camden neighborhood close to everything. Lee and Kim are wonderful hosts making sure you have everything you need. Lee even treated us to a sail on Penobscot Bay a highlight of our trip! Would go back in a heart beat!

The location of this property is perfect for walking into town where there are so many things to see and do. My husband and I spent 5 weeks exploring the coast of Maine again and going to a family reunion. The owners did recommend a couple of places to eat and we passed the information along to relatives who were also staying in the area. It is perfect for two people and it is in a very nice quiet neighborhood.
I hope to make it back to Camden again and would definitely stay here again!!

Perfect location and great hosts!
Thank you for opening your home to us! We had an amazing time on our girl's trip and first visit to Maine. The loft was just as you described. It was cozy, charming, and clean. The location was perfect and within walking distance to everything. We only used our car to go sightseeing. We enjoyed the breathtaking views, sailing and great food (thanks to many of your dining recommendations). We have such wonderful memories of our time in Camden and would definitely stay at the loft again. We could not have chosen a more perfect location and the owners were delightful! Thank you for the memories!

Close to Everything, off the cutest street in Camden Maine
Jacobs Ave is the home to a series of Sears era starter homes that have weathered beautifully over the years, and the charm factor couldn't be higher. Camden is a yearly destination for me and my newest fave-o-rite spot is 23 Jacobs Ave- simple & sweet with a loaner bike that made my visit complete. Highly walkable and very close to downtown but without the traffic and buzz. French and Braun grocery is less than five min away. Laite Beach is also a five min walk, and a great place to bbq with stunning camden harbor views. Next time I won't rent a car, as the bus from Logan Airport drops you near downtown, and unless sightseeing is high on the list an automobile wasn't needed at this location.
