The cottage is in a great location and had everything that we needed during our stay. It was very clean and there was plenty of room to spread out. The yard and outdoor space overall was also very nice and well-kept. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Camden.
It was one of the most comfortable places we have stayed. We felt like we were safe in our grandma's house. Nothing was over looked everything was supplied and they were quantity supplied! I want to stay again!

About the host

In 1994 we packed up our family of 5 and moved from California to Maine; when we drove through Camden we said '' this is it! what can be cuter than this little town!'' and we bought the little cottage which was at that time a dental office. Within a couple of years our dental practice outgrew the cottage and when we moved our practice to 100 Elm St. we knew that converting it back to a cottage would be the perfect guest house for our friends and family. Now you get to enjoy staying in it like our guests do!
Why they chose this property
Being in a quiet neighborhood yet only 3 blocks from downtown, hiking and oceanside, it's perfect for vacationing. And in the wintertime we are 2 miles from the Snow Bowl down hill skiing and yearly Toboggan races. Participate in the yearly Camden International Film Festival "CIFF"; Pop-Tech - all within walking distance of the cottage. If you are here for a course at the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship- you're nice and close too! Also only 1 mile from the Maine Photographic Workshops classrooms.
What makes this property unique
Camden is unique because it is one of the few places where you can ski in the winter and see the ocean while you ski.
