The host was great in communicating. The house was so pretty, very relaxing and comfortable. House was so clean. I loved sitting on the porch in the sun drinking my coffee.
We were looking for a quick escape from city life, and this home met everything we envisioned in a country retreat - including a stroll back into the past! The home is beautifully situated in the Shenandoah Valley, offering amazing views of the countryside while somehow feeling perfectly secluded. Although it felt like we were miles from anywhere, we were only minutes from the Woodbine Farm Market, which had everything we needed for our stay and was the quintessential country store. We also had the historic town of Strasburg less than eight minutes away that made for a lovely afternoon visit to its shops and restaurants! Our host paid great attention to detail, with an immaculately curated home and a fully equipped kitchen. Diane was great at providing helpful information on local attractions, and above all, she was a great communicator. We look forward to future stays!
The property was gorgeous, both inside & out. It truly felt like stepping back in time while still including modern comforts! The home is very cozy; it's in a quiet area that feels secluded while still being very close to the nearby town. We were very happy to find that the kitchen had plates, silverware, and all the other utensils we needed to cook while there. There were dozens of brochures with various activities and places to visit locally which were very helpful! The host Diane was fantastic and answered all of our questions very quickly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to be back in the future!
