Haven By the Sea was a dream come true. What a perfect spot to enjoy the ocean, pools, and nature. The home is luxurious and roomy and was able to accommodate 4 adults and 2 kids with lots of space for everyone. Communication with the host was exceptional. We hope this will be the first of many visits here.

Highly recommend! I’ve stayed in many VRBOs over the years and the attention to detail, communication, willingness to provide for the guest has never been this good. Randy certainly goes above & beyond. There are beautiful, unobstructed ocean views from window, door, patios, etc. The location felt very private. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked, living room extremely cozy. The complex has much to offer although we didn’t have time to use anything. The on-site restaurant was great! Highly recommend.

Great getaway

We enjoyed the unit and the fact that your patio looked out onto the bay. The grounds/flowers were lovely and the walking paths were great. The resort as a whole is showing its age, the gym is filled with older equipment and the resort entrance is dated, window frames/screens need replacing, etc. The unit itself is upgraded with the exception of the bathrooms, otherwise the unit was beautiful. Beds were comfortable. Communication with owner was great.

Unfortunately, the gym and common areas of the resort are out of our hands as we do not own it. As for the windows and bathrooms—those are on my “when I win the lottery” list, but I’m working on it, one upgrade at a time. We have only owned the unit for a year, but we are doing our best to give our customers a memorable relaxing retreat. We truly appreciate your kind words about the unit itself, the comfy beds, and our communication—it means a lot. Hopefully next time I’ll have a few more things checked off the renovation wish list! Beautiful Inside and Out

Haven by the Sea is beautiful! The renovations and decorating are gorgeous (with the exception of the bath and shower which hadn't been done...yet). The rooms are large and well-appointed. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed. One of the best features of this property was the front outside sitting areas on the main living room and the master bedroom side. The view of the water was wonderful and there were many places to walk to. We only wished a small gas fireplace was outside as we stayed in October. Overall this was a beautiful and comfortable stay!

Great place with amazing view

Property was excellent & spacious, no issues at all, much better than the pictures. Only issue we had at the check out. The cleaning lady was in the unit at 11:02am, no knocking or anything, was very rude ,started baning the bath room door while my wife was changing. I told her we will be out inn 5 to 10 minutes & she started yelling asking us to get out. Left avery bad etaste.

Waking up with a coffee on the deck, soaking in the oceanfront view, made us fall in love immediately. The sunsets are breathtaking, and having nature at our doorstep, including a partially sheltered cove perfect for paddleboarding, kayaking, swimming, and other water activities. Makes every day feel like a mini getaway.

We love the safe, welcoming community, where neighbours genuinely look out for each other. The location is ideal, Parksville is just a short drive away, giving easy access to shops, cafes, and attractions, while still enjoying the peaceful charm of waterfront living.
